iPhone Activation and Syncing Video

Why would they use an iPod when it would be just as easy to use an iPhone? It would just be so sweet if they would release an 80GB version of the iPhone.
 
People who don't have a modern computer with internet connection will have problems but I love it. I will get the 8gb phone and cheapest plan and when they come out with a WS ipod with out the phone I will get that. Flash drives don't come in high gbs and you don't want a spinning HD on a phone.

Who would spend $600 on an iPhone that doesn't have a computer capable of running iTunes and accessing the internet?

no there won't be. stop getting your hopes up. putting an HD in that phone would make it both fragile and heavier. i dont think there is an 80GB flash HD for the iphone.

there wont be an 80GB iphone ... please stop thinking there will be... there also wont be 4 new apps that will be announced on launch day, no ichat, no MMS secret feature. youtube was the last app that will be on the iphone.

who would be after a gadget like this and doesnt own a computer? ask yourself that. if someone has no use for a computer, then why on earth would they have a use for a phone that is basically a handheld computer?
 
My neighbor uses my computer to load their ipod. They like having the latest phones and I guess they will eventually have an iphone. Their computer, when its working is on dial-up and is over 5 years old. I wouldn't use it as a planter. Maybe I'll sell them my old PC, Gateway profile 5, that works fine. It's not like I use it.

If someone doesn't have a computer there are much better hand-held options available.

lol Yeah, until Apple releases iPhone software update v1.1 at 6:15pm on Friday. Oh boy, I can't wait for the amount of time to pass before the first update. [ lol pfft @ Safari 3.0 ]

a 3 year old computer can run itunes. and it has USB 2 i'm sure. 2004 wasn't that far away. my old powerbook i bought in 2003 would've had no problems syncing with the iphone.

Ha! That's my exact dilemma. Most of my contacts are my iChat buddies that I insisted be renamed. Ayy. I'm gonna wind up sitting with the damn iPhone in my lap sorting everything.. Perhaps I do it in advance.. Ugh. ANTICIPATION!
 
They can run iTune, just not well. It's very cheap and now that I think of it it's over 3 years old. It may be over 5 years old. 10gb HD, god knows what the processor speed is.

I've been doing this for the last 2 days. Clean up my contacts and calendar. Get better pictures of everybody.
