Pretty disappointed with the portrait mode only working on people...

The rest looks good for the price though!

*No mention of a Plus model whatsoever*

In all seriousness though, the new SE looks great. Pricing seems solid & specs are excellent. Hope it’s what you guys wanted 😁

How does it compare chip-wise to similarly priced Android phones? Seems like a really powerful phone for 399 no? Only the screen and camera could be better but that's why it's a budget phone

For $399 or even $449, it’s not going to have the iPhone 11 camera. It’s simply not realistic.

The only surprising thing is it has the same battery life as iPhone 8.

Its going to be the same as before. Just like 6S and original SE. This one will get the same main cam as 11/11 Pro and same chip. Thats probably it. That is the most logical thing for Apple to do and historically thats what they have done. If I used your analogy, why would original SE had the same camera as more expensive 6S? So although I understand your thinking I also don't. Few hours to prove it :D

Why would you just order it with all the rumours floating around?

Purchasing for my family member to replace the aging/malfunctioning 6s Plus, really didn't spent much time into rumors...
OK now the 128G new SE model is 15 USD cheaper than my XR 64G deal. Gotta check their specs and spend the night sleepless now~

Yeah. Better battery life would have made it more compelling.

The original SE has the same camera as the 6s, which was the flagship at the time.

People keep pointing to this, but the circumstances were entirely different.

Apple experienced much lower demand for iPhone 6s than expected. Also, Apple only had two choices (8MP or 12MP camera) back then. Finally, it was $399 vs. $649. Now, it’s $399 vs. $699.

Battery life worries me which is why I always buy plus models, can't be arsed charging twice a day with my use. I might give this a pass.
