Step 1 Request

December 24, 2011: Product received

Step 2 Service

December 24, 2011: Issue identified

Step 3 Return

January 12, 2012: Replacement Product Shipped

I think they're getting a bit quicker now, that is a 3 week turnaround time, not to mention the iPod was sent during the Christmas period.
Nice, mine has been pending since the 29th so should be sent soon, hopefully. :p

I requested service on the 12th of november according to my service request, I received my box to post it out on the 22nd of december and sent it away the same day.

My service request page is still sitting at service requested, no indication that they have received the iPod or assessing it. How long did it take for others between sending it back in and seeing some indication that it had been received? I used the correct mailer and followed the instructions of having the courier call to pick it up etc. Should I be worried that my iPod has got lost somewhere?

Two months in, and I'm not even past step 1 | request, yet

Here's mine, hopefully getting it soon now! :)

Same here, from el Salvador, and two months waiting and still no news.

Mines was serviced on the 30th Dec.

Still pending replacement, but I'm not too desperate for it yet.

Same here, too. Hopefully it's not that the posties have caught on.

Give it 6 weeks from the day Apple confirmed receiving your old Nano.

My replacement arrived 6 weeks to that day - They received it on November 17th, I got my replacement on December 29th.

6 weeks is the time period that was originally stated by Apple (somewhere...) for replacement. Your patience will be rewarded! :D

Mine just went into status that says "replacement product shipped" is there any way to check the serial number, or get a tracking number?

We have been expecting new nano’s for two months in Turkey :( There is no news about how long will it take...

Received it today. Unfortunately I haven't been at home, so I'll get it tomorrow.

Mine was shipped on January 2nd, still waiting for it— Im based in France.

Oh, did I mention I was getting pissed off as the tracking number doesn't exist?

Tired of all this crap, excuse my language, but if I knew this whole thing was going to happen, I doubt I would've sent my iPod in the first place, no one was able to help me out...

Mine was sent today. From the serial number it's a 6th gen nano.

I went to Amazon and ordered a TikTok armband so I can wear it as a watch.

you can still send a nano if your country is no listed in the online service. I'm from Chile. I went to the apple reseller and they received my first gen nano. They (explicitly) told me that I would receive a 6 gen nano in about two months. They'll care about sending and receiving it :)
