I would sooo have gotten the white if it was available. It looks so nice!I see the V20 is now €480 on import now, hopefully within a few months I will pick up a G6 for around €500 and i would go for the white version ...

The G6 is thicker for sure because it is so narrow though you don't even notice.....Awesome, now I'm officially embarrassed by using something like the 7+. Can you take a pic with them stacked up as well? I'm getting the feeling the G6 is thicker, but I'd love to see them stacked up.
This how much is left after all my apps and 3GB of music.@jamzr
How much storage do you start with? On my Pixel, apps alone count for about 10gb.
Here you go...Nice purchase jamezr!
Could you please measure the width and height of the display in mm?
Thank you, but I meant the width and height of the display itself, not the deviceThis how much is left after all my apps and 3GB of music.

Take your timeoh sorry.... I am not sure I have anything to do that...let me check and post back when I can find something
I found this comparing the display size and area some recent phones....Take your time
This aspect ratio makes for a narrow phone. It also makes it very easy to use one handed as well.Thank you jamezr, this is exactly what I was looking for.
Hmm a 5,5' 16:9 display is about 4mm wider than a 5,7" 16:10 display, seems a lot.

For me the G6 is easier to hold because of the rounded edges. My s7 edge has a sharp edge to it.Is the LG G6 easier to handle then the S7 Edge, and how solid does the finger print sensor feel? Is it spongy and weak or nice and firm built to last?
Must have been the display unit. I have no issues with apps opening or refreshing. I recently opened a tapatalk discussion on a another forum , started writing my post....closed tapatalk. Went into photos abs edited a photo and saved it. Got a FB notification...responded back the FB notification. Checked email...then went back my original tapatalk post and attached the photo I edited and all my text was still there.Well I could not do much of a test for first impressions. Internet was only available through wifi and the store connection was slow. No access to the Play Store either.
Now I full well know this is a demo unit but memory had less than 1gb available with absolutely nothing open. I did not really care much for the display, I like bright screens and I am unsure what the nits are for the g6.
I need to go elsewhere, I did not check to see if apps would refresh. But with less than 1gb free with nothing else open, ....
Lol ok let me help you....Stop making me want this phone @jamezr
I don't need it .... I don't need it .... But i want .... Aghhh
That reminds me of the rose gold 6S Plus I gave to my sister in law. I like it but can see how it would not appeal to a man. Silver would have been more neutral and looked "cleaner". The rose good does break up the unified look a bit. Oh well at least you get the white model at all. They seem to have opted for 'rose gold' aka PINK edges on the white model in Europe

Why LG why ?
The renders with silver edges looks so lovely.
Looks like if I do get the LG and it is tempting me, I'll pick up black or platinum instead. Not a fan of rose gold ....
Oh and clarification based on Amazon listing. It is 32GB for Europe and not 64 like some hoped.
Launches end of next month in Europe for €749 ...... t.
I was hesitant to about the 32GB of storage......then thought about my S7 edge and it only has 32 and that isn't full. The SD card really helps as you can have pictures and video default to that location. But iPhones don't have that option so we end up having to spend extra on more storage because of that. That reminds me of the rose gold 6S Plus I gave to my sister in law. I'm sorry you don't get the 64 GB storage. That still is a sticking point for me. I wouldn't necessarily fill up the 64 GB, but if I weren't reigning myself in, I'd probably be filling my current 32GB Androids. I estimate my ideal usage to about 40 or so. I became incredibly disciplined using a 64 GB iPhone SE.
Im happiest on my 256 GB 7 Plus which I am close to filling up!
Filming too many events in 4K will do that!
