So I sold my Korean LG G6
And bought a new UK Sim free model in Mystique White
Ok I lose the quad dac and 32gb, but I gain no Korean apps and a clean device when the full European warranty. Which I think are worth more especially as storage can be supplemented and I rarely use big cans for headphones and stick with earbuds at the gym and I'm sure Google Play Music is compressed even on the highest quality setting.
So yeah should be here Wednesday just in time for me to take it to the UK Motor Show on Friday 5th May and take some car porn photographs for you all.

yep, I just picked up a like-new G6 for around $500 USD on Swappa to try out.
If I like it, sure beats the $900 (with tax) I paid for the S8+[doublepost=1493400852][/doublepost]

Bought a black unlocked version on eBay (first eBay purchase, btw). Floored by it.
Tried out both the S8 and G6 at an ATT store a week ago and wasn't impressed at all at how the S8 felt in hand.
The LG, on the other hand, felt weighty and more durable; it also looks beautiful.
What I didn't want was the terrible ATT branding, so I waited and came out okay, paying $587.

Yeah. And $649 with the watch isn't too bad. I'm not a huge fan of the watch, but I think it's probably worth it for $50! I'm real tempted to pick this up.

Sometimes I do wonder why they set the price so high initially as it undoubtedly made people purchase the S8, whereas if they had announced a £479 price from the outset and €599 for Europe (as opposed to the RRP €749) they would have really helped themselves steal a march on the S8.
LG like HTC do tend to shoot themselves in the foot.
Yea it is but I'm sure it will drop further sooner rather than later.
I'm still happy with the Pixel but have moments of weakness every now and then. Haha!
S8 didn't do it for me.. not into curved displays, badly placed FPS and touchwiz.. although I'm curious for a possible Note 8.
G6 has positives but not the latest internals (I want the 835 at least!).
So far.. I have avoided two above temptations.. but the remaining HTC 10 successor temptation maybe a good shout until the real deals arrive - Pixel 2 / iPhone 7s!
I've been impressed with own my restraint so far this year much thanks to the amazing Pixel!
That would be a really cool combo of smartphones and I will be so envious. I have a problem in that the cameras of my iPhone 7Plus and my S8+ are so similar and comparable that my new S8+ is rendering my iPhone 7Plus redundant. I'm going back to my iPhone SE for the summer.
Everyday just keeps getting better with the G6.
I think the standout is just how easy it is to use and to to customize almost everything about the phone, without having to resort to using the Play Store.
Also, I've never wanted to use a camera so much in all my life. The experience is fun.
Fun.
Only thing I dislike is the fact it's simply nuts to go naked and have to cover up the phone with a case.
But at least the Spigen Slim Armor is awesome.

A focus group reported that wireless charging wasn't seen as important to most Europeans. Lg listened sadly.
