List of Members Waiting for their Macbook Air to Ship and Arrive and Photos!

All those with MacBook Air CTOs:

I'm concerned because my order confirmation doesn't explicitly say the keyboard/OS is in English. Instead it just has a part number for it -- 065-7270. I called Apple; they didn't know what the language was based on the part number. My concern is, Googling the number brought back a hit that the part number was for a Spanish keyboard/OS, which isn't what I ordered.

If you're sure that your order is in English, can you check on your order confirmation that the part number 065-7270 verifies?

I ordered a 1.8 ghz / 80gb on Jan 15 11:25 AM PST (right after the store came back up from crashing). I selected Rush shipping.

Order status as of this moment: "Not Yet Shipped"

Did anyone who ordered a 1.8/80 get an order status update yet?...

Did you choose spanish at checkout? If you didn't you should be fine.

I don't have a part number on my order:

1.80GHz Intel Core 2 Duo w/2GB
80GB Parallel ATA Drive @ 4200
No iWork Preinstalled

Where's the guy that posted all over the internet that he would fly people to him if they'd sell him an SSD Air? I wonder if his head has exploded by now...
 
Still at "not yet shipped". Seriously considering cancelling and ordering through BestBuy. They list shipping as arriving between 2/4 and 2/11 with the fastest shipping arriving on 2/6 - the day mine is scheduled to ship by Apple. The big thing is the extended warranty plan. I think BestBuys covers drops, etc and has a no lemon clause, anyone know about AppleCare???? Also there is no Apple store here in town - 2 hour drive to the closest one - so I really don't like the idea of having to ship in my MBA for any repairs.
 
Now, both my Superdrive and USB Ethernet dongle are listed as "Prepared for shipment". No MBA (1.8/64), which I ordered 10:50a, 1/15/08.

This is killing me (and my wife may, too, if I bring up the subject one more time to her).

Yup, my superdrive and ethernet adapter are ready for shipping. Macbook Air is a no go though (1.8/80gb)
 
yea that would be lame if we all get our accessory for the macbook air
"before" we get the macbook air itself LOL
 
Some progress

My Ethernet adapter now shows as prepared for shipment too. I ordered the MBA 64GB SSD about eight hours post the keynote - it still shows as not yet shipped.

Thanks. Well I can't imagine that I accidentally ordered a Spanish keyboard, but I'd just like to ensure that I didn't. I noticed that no part numbers are listed on the Order Status page. But in my case, they were listed in the order confirmation E-Mail. Anyone else with a MacBook Air CTO that you're sure is in English have 065-7270 listed as the part number for keyboard/ Mac OS in the order confirmation E-Mail? Or is it just me? :eek:

I just checked the email for you. Mine is 065-7270. We better learn spanish. :eek:
 
Interesting to note that Amazon is now showing the 1.8/80 model as "Temporarily out of stock. Order now and we'll deliver when available" whereas just this morning it was still considered a "pre-order".
Meanwhile, the 1.6/80 is still listed as a Pre-order item and still says "This item has not yet been released. You may order it now and we will ship it to you when it arrives."

I have a feeling Amazon will be shipping as early as this weekend. At least that's what I'm hoping for!:p:)
 
finally mine shipped! Got the prepared for shipment notice this morning and got the shipped notice two hours ago.. Ordered standard config. On jan 15th at 730pm est. Delivers by the fourth. So excited! Hang in there guys yours will ship soon too!
