casue there too many macbook air orders and the factory can't keep up! hahah
i dunno i hope it gets really popular thought hehe
I have a 9:30 AM personal shopping appointment for the Macbook Air but the Mall it is in opens at 10 AM... Does anybody have any Suggestions
8GB iPhone, 2.2 MBP, New iMac.
theres another guy here in the forum that also has a personal shopping appointment in a mall for 9am also i think and the mall opens at 10am
Malls usually opens up like super early like 9 or even 8am ppl walk around inside but all the stores are still close
Beware that the Macbook Air's may not have arrived at the Apple Store by 9am!! Maybe you want the first 10am appointment instead. Fedex will probably deliver them "by 10:30am".

just got my airbook delivered to work, everyone in the office huddled around my desk oohhing and ahhhing at the machine..its stunningly light and thin.. not going to set it up at work, but will when i get home...
still waiting on the dvd drive and ethernet adapter (supposedly coming tommorow)

You know that it comes with the DVI and VGA adapters, right? The only reason I am asking is that I ordered the DVI adapter as well, but cancelled it when I saw that it came with the MBA.

I'm pretty sure most malls open earlier than their posted times to allow the old folk to stroll around. At least that's the way it is at Bridgewater, NJ.
I have myself a Personal Shopping Appointment at 10am also. Hopefully they will be there by then but I WILL stand there until they arrive.

Thats gay I wonder if it is just the one you got or if its all of them. Maybe because of the way the bottom is curved?!?

lesson learned: you can always preorder, mull it for a few days if you really need (want) it, then cancel any time before "prepared for shipment."
According to the FedEx rep I talked to today, anything listed as "left origin" this morning (9-12) Shanghai time, will leave on the 1:00 PM Shanghai flight to AK. Therefore, 2-3 day shipping (or "overnight" shipping apparently) will be delivered Tuesday. That's all of the information I received.
This gon' be a looooong weekend.
I also have a 9am appointment and the Apple guy said they open for personal shoppers before 10.
I hope they have airs tomorrow
That was not what i was told, I was told yes it could be in tomorrow easy, or Monday at the latest.....
I think in most cities it will be available tomorrow morning, especially if you live in a shipping city like Atlanta or something.
Atlanta seems good to go since I got no call from the store like I did yesterday.
