I got the SSD/1.8 option and the Superdrive and Ethernet adapter. The Superdrive and Ethernet adapter are expected to arrive tomorrow, but the MBA is not supposed to get here until next Tuesday. Says it left Shanghai earlier today. Seems highly unlikely that it will make it here tomorrow or even Saturday. Guess I'll just have to wait.
Yes, it shipped and I received the email but Fed Ex tracking shows it still in China, Its been 24 hours

Mine just left AK too, at 1:17PM, along with CyberGypsy's. We are the second wave of shipments (which seemed to just hang out in Shanghai for 36 hours before they got on the plane to AK). Ordered shortly after the keynote, 11:19amPST

It depends on your location, but I give it about a 5% chance for coming tomorrow. Don't count on it.
Well, I can promise you that I'll be very nice to the fedex flights from Anchorage tomorrow in 6 feet of snow or no snow. From air traffic control in Indianapolis, I might even consider breaking the law and giving them landing priorities...I hope the plane gets to Alaska soon. I see Indy and Memphis have winter weather issues tonight too! Keeping my fingers crossed for Friday!

I think every shipment there is after fedex cutoff. Im sure it has something to do with the scheduled pickup everyday or something
Actually, I bet if it departed alaska today it will be there tomorrow... in my experience delivery from alaska has been within hours

FedEx runs pretty frequent red-eyes ANC-EWR and ANC-JFK. New York City would get faster delivery, but Billy Bob Joe out in the remote Kentucky hills might have to wait for the eta.
