I have just one but I don't see why it would not work the way you said. Just understand limitation of M1 where HDMI does not support 3008x1692 resolution for some reason but offers it for USB-C and USB-C > DP adapter. But you should still have 3840x2160 or 2560x1440 possible for both, or just run USB-C with 3008x1692.

I installed MonitorControl to adjust brightness from keyboard on 32UN880-B and it stopped waking up on request. Does everyone have it?

I'm thinking of buying a Mini (M1 or M1X when available). Does anyone have experience with connecting gaming monitors at higher refreshrates? I have a 1440p AORUS FI27Q-P, which I would like to connect via HDMI @144Hz or 165Hz.

This thread suggests there are some monitor limitations with the Mini, but I can't really find any information on Apple's website. Can anyone point these out? Thanks!

I connected my acer predator x34p via DP and it seemed to work fine and showed 144hz refresh rate!

Does anybody here know or have an LG Ergo? Was wondering if the M1 works well with them. Thanks!
Works fine with an LG Ergo - have the LG34WN780-B model, and only annoyance initially was the horrible font scaling due to this model not being 4k. Luckily LG has an HDR Effect picture setting that looks incredible and gives a near 5k iMac look/feel versus what originally looked more like an early era TN MacBook Air panel.

This guy/gal is running a 30" Cinema HD Display with an M1 Mac mini, via Apple's mini-DisplayPort to dual-link DVI adapter and a Club 3D HDCP OFF USB-C adapter of some sort.

This other guy/gal is also using the 30" Cinema HD Display with the M1 Mac mini, via Apple's mini-DisplayPort to dual-link DVI adapter and a Benfei USB-C to Mini DisplayPort Adapter.

I'm guessing a plain USB-C to mini-DisplayPort dongle would also work in place of those hubs. It works with my 12" MacBook, but I don't have an M1 Mac mini to test (yet).

I am using the vintage ACD 30" and the M1 MBA with the Club 3D HDCP OFF USB-C adapter.

That's odd, it's no longer listed under my U3419W support page. I wonder if Dell pulled it for some reason. I had to update my monitor's firmware before I could use it (there was a separate macOS app for that).

It's still available here: https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-us/product-support/product/dell-u3421we-monitor/drivers
I noticed there’s also firmware update and Display Manager available for my U3219Q. Is there any reason to install these since my monitor already works in RGB mode?

I wouldn't bother if you're getting RGB already. I installed the FW and DDM for my U2720Q and I now sporadically get a shadow in the bottom right of the screen, and I can't nail down what triggers this. It goes if I turn off and on the monitor, but it's a PITA when you spend a fair bit of money on a U series Dell monitor. Currently have a case logged with Dell, though I think they're trying really hard not to replace my monitor, and they can't seem to find the previous FW, which is all I actually want!!

A couple of weeks ago I saw an online deal for a Benq PD3200U. Normal price is around 650 EUR / $750 and was adverted at 400 EUR / $650.

Till yesterday, it was connected to my Windows machine in the home office.
Today I hooked it up to the Mini M1, connected via DisplayPort cable using the Caldigit TS3Plus dock.
The screen is set to RGB mode, the information in the OSD display doesn't show much info. Just the port used and resolution.

On first sight it seems to be working fine, only using it for an hour orso.

Here´s my contribution to the thread.
Started of with af HP E27 G4 (QHD - HDMI). Works perfect.
Then I decided to go 4K with af Philips 328E (4K HDMI > USB-C - Just love it. Runs in native resolution.

Can you run dual Dell U2720Q displays on the M1 Mac Mini?

Seems like you could connect one monitor A via USB C to USB C and monitor B via HDMI to HDMI since this monitor has both USB-C and HDMI inputs.

Am I reading this right?
