Dual Clovertons Might Not Be Possible Multiple Computers Complicate Creativity
Quad saved my life. Need OctoCore ASAP.
Intel has already announced they will ship Kentsfield and Clovertown 4 core processors in the 4th quarter of 2006. You are simply not up to speed on the Intel Core Microarchitecture Roadmap. No way will more than one computer make it easier. How you could not have already graduated to the Quad when you stared on the Rev A sGHz G5 is hard for me to understand. I owned 4 different G5's during the last two and a half years. And if I had held on to my Dual 2.5 Ghz G5 any longer than February, I would have been backed into a DEAD END Corner. It started completely coming to a halt in January once I started seriously crushing video.devmage said:I ordered a Mac Pro because it kicks ass and I can boot into Windoze for gaming if I feel like it It would seem that if you believe you could benfity from multiple cores so much you could just use more than one machine with distributed computing. I also highly doubt the 4 core processors are as close as you guys think nor wil the be as cheap as everyone thinks. We'll see though I don't my life on hold for what could be, I bought my rev a G5 and never looked back. I'll do the same with the Mac Pro

Mobile 4 core processors are probably not going to be ready before the end of 2008. Thank you for the appreciation.ricgnzlzcr said:Wow, I just learned a lot. I really had no idea how the multiple cores actually worked but I got my answer. Quad core macbook pro anyone?
