Anyone the the U.K. delivery date of today that was bumped from may 5 to 11…. The real delivery date is scheduled for April 25th or so. UPS have messed up the delivery info apparently.

I have the same specs, order and delivery dates as you, shipping to Australia. I noticed mine flipped to Preparing to Ship on Sunday (local time).

I'm hopeful for an early shipment but looking at the state of the lockdowns, I'm just happy for it to ship during the original shipping window.
Just received the shipping notification from Apple.
Apple provided a tracking link which states that item has been picked up (by DHL) and is on its way with an expected delivery date by 04 May. Which may be a cautious estimate on Apple's part. I'm just happy that there's movement.

Hope the same goes for my ASD order which still has an delivery estimate of end May-June.

Max 32/64/2TB coming to the US now on day 4 stuck in Check Lap Kok in lockdown.

I'm sure they have no choice, but how ironic that UPS is shipping items from an open city to a locked down city where they know the packages will get stuck. And UPS still says it's getting delivered today.

My config: Max 32, 64GB, 2TB was scheduled for 3-16juni. Now I have received a message that it has been shipped with track and trace. Only with Apple it is still on 'shipping'

Just got confirmation from Apple. It has been shipped and is scheduled for April 29. I ordered it on March 15th. It was originally supposed to be delivered on June 3-16.

That's a lot faster.

China

expected to arrive on 4/22….2 weeks ahead of orignal schedule. Let’s see how it goes from here.

My original delivery date was June 13 - 27 and late last week received notification it will be delivered April 12. I was stunned and came in the Studio forum which I hadn't done since I thought it was so long to wait!! Still in shock it moved up that much!!!
That's awesome! What specs and when did you order?

it seems to be an US advantage only.
In Europe / Germany there are still many parcels which are stucked somewhere in China. No realistic information on the problem but "It's on its way". I ordered on March 12 , was shipped March 31, till then nothing new.
DHL only states "shipping information received" , Apple website tells "Delivery on April 11" , Apple Support "...no additional information".

Mine has now been stuck in HK, having cleared customs, for 3 days. Apple initially gave me a 25-29 April delivery window so I can’t complain I guess :) but at one point UPS told me they would deliver this afternoon!

My base studio was ordered march 23, showing as shipped for 3 days to the UK, UPS said delivery is today by 1pm.

No delivery, I called Apple and they said no, that was an error, you will get it by April 23rd.

grrrr

Update for my order. Base mac studio ordered on 1st April. Schedule date 26tb April. So far status still show processing.

Do call them though. I'm in the same situation as you (shipped on 31st, supposedly delivered on April 11 but delayed). Did give them a call last week and they told me to call back after receiving it to discuss a compensation. No clue what that will be but I guess it's worth it to try right.

Yes I was told the same re compensation.

My order is from The Netherlands.

That's great to hear. I ordered on the 30th, so that means there's a small possibility mine might actually ship in a week or two! That's a lot better than it arriving when I'm on vacation/holiday!

I think it's good news myself. I am surprised that it will be delivered so soon. But let's wait until April 29 ;)

LTT just did a tear down of two identical SKU Mac Studios and they have different power supplies. As in, completely difference circuits. This could explain the people experiencing coil whine.

Hmm, already called them twice, only answering with appeasements.
Any hints want to do or say to get this accommodation ?

ifixit had the one on the left.

Wonder if the Serial Numbers can give a clue to a revision or if one was intended for max and one intended for ultra but they are mixing them accidentally.

I don't recall saying anything in particular but I did express I wasn't too happy they took the money out of my account while they have no clue when they'll deliver it. Not sure if that did the trick though, although it was just clear I wasn't a happy customer.

Oh no. Thus begins the long, long controversy about one supply being better/worse quieter/louder hotter/cooler than the other and everyone freaking out about which one they got, returning one model to play the lotto for the other one, demanding apple give them control about which unit they get, and in the end the difference being primarily placebo effect, etc.

Linus Tech Tips' opinion is that it's not a revision, it's two suppliers with different designs to avoid getting a single source chokepoint for supply. (chips are hard to get and in short supply pretty much everywhere)

That makes way more sense than Apple revising it literally as it shipped.
