Linus Tech Tips' opinion is that it's not a revision, it's two suppliers with different designs to avoid getting a single source chokepoint for supply. (chips are hard to get and in short supply pretty much everywhere)

That makes way more sense than Apple revising it literally as it shipped.
Indeed. The video says specifically that the two power supplies have identical specifications.

This was a focused thread for 100 pages until post #2,495 created a digression into an issue that has nothing to do with the thread subject. Allegedly this may or may not have something to do with noise. I guess there aren't enough threads about noise, and the idea is to turn this into one too.

It’s farcical. Early this morning the status changed to delivery on Wednesday (yay!) and now it’s changed back to ‘check back tomorrow……’ I’ve now got the package is delayed in transit status in the UPS app (boo!)

How many here are waiting in Europe that DHL pick up the parcel in Eindhoven?

Mine was shipped March 31 and since then no updates.

It was scheduled for delivery today April 12.

But it is still on
‘Shipper has generated a shipment label, but the shipment has not yet been handed over to DHL’.

31. March 2022 13:41 Local time, Service Area: EINDHOVEN - NETHERLANDS, THE

Apple support cannot tell me where my Mac Studio is, not even DHL can tell me where it is…

Only information I have is that it exited the factory in China on March 31…

Have you contacted Apple Support? What did they told you?
At this point we have no real delivery date (it is impossible that it will delivered today since DHL does not hav it picked up yet)...

Yes I have been regularly calling. They opened an investigation after calling the day that it was supposed to arrive according to Apple website (in my case 7th). Last thing they could see was some movement on the 3/4 but the package was in Asia.

Now I’m waiting for tomorrow to call again for updates (since they said they should know something more after 3 business days of opening the investigation)

I'm one of them, ordered march 12, Max 10/32/32/1TB, DHL label March 31 13:30. Expected delivery: yesterday, April 11.

The base model ASD I picked up at CoolBlue (Dutch retailer) last Friday, when I got noticed by them they had limited stock available (and way faster delivery than Apple offers: 8 to 10 weeks here). At the moment it is connected to my Mac mini M1, so at least I can enjoy the ASD.

Apple just yesterday told me to wait opening an investigation because it may slow the delivery even further.
But today I will call and ask to investigate because it is not acceptable not to have any information at all ...

It seems like quite a good few orders shipped at the end of March (and possibly start of April) for customers in Europe (who were provided with DHL as the main courier company) ended up badly stuck somewhere in China for the time being. It's unfortunate that Apple lacks the information about the cargo's movement and leaving us as customers in dark with no light at the end of the tunnel in sight, at least for now.

The 7th of April Apple delivery date didn't materialize and my original estimated delivery window will expire tomorrow, 13th of April. I'm pretty much sure there will be no delivery this week due to Easter holiday weekend. As I'm away for 10 days starting this Friday, I'll rather focus on digital detox (so to speak) and by the time I'm back on 25th of April, I'll hold my breath for a surprise of the Studio waiting there for me to be unboxed🤞

And looking at the Apple site it says now 'Delivery soon'. The delivery window April 11-22 is removed.

i just talked to apple support again and this time i found a very smart interlocutor. Basically he analyzed the situation live with me and told me that our Mac Studios destined for continental Europe (left the factory between 26 and 31 March). They are stationary in the UPS warehouse in Shanghai.

So they forgot to ship our pallet because after the lockdown numerous other orders have arrived that pass in front of ours, evidently left in a corner that none of the Chinese UPS staff sees or bothered to ship ...

However, an investigation has been opened to solicit the shipment of our pallet ...

Anyone the the U.K. delivery date of today that was bumped from may 5 to 11…. The real delivery date is scheduled for April 25th or so. UPS have messed up the delivery info apparently.

Can confirm 20|48|128|8 UK May 5 to 11 didn't deliver yesterday.

Mine showed up yesterday.

I found out that the thunderbolt 2 to 4 cable adapter does not work for my old 27 inch Apple Cinema Display equipped with Mini DisplayPort. That adapter arrives today. I’ll be able to start setup tomorrow.

I did finally cave, and ordered a glossy Studio Display with up/down stand. (Early June)

Same order from Belgium.
M1 Max base model with 1TB disk.

Expected delivery 27/04 - 04/05
On 7th of April got an DHL status update "Shipper has generated a shipment label, but the shipment has not yet been handed over to DHL - Eindhoven Netherlands"... Since then no more updates

Apologies you feel that way. However, the noise threads are very hostile so I’ve chosen not to post in there.

Interesting, the various Apple links are mostly saying the package will be delivered tomorrow (or last Monday or in 2 weeks depending on how I click through the Apple site), UPS momentarily said the same - just long enough to send me an email to confirm delivery on Wednesday and then they reverted to the usual "delayed" message again. No sign the package is moving today so I doubt it will leave China, let alone alive in Holland by tomorrow.

It looks like UPS thought they could ship last night and then maybe this pallet was too slow to be loaded or the plane was full or one of the guys in the warehouse coughed or something :)

Meanwhile my MacPro 5,1 is sulking as I've told it it will be sold :(

For anyone who has their Studio stuck in Chek Lap Kok, the International Department at UPS informed me this morning that the 2 week lockdown began in that area on April 5 and will go for at least 2 weeks. They explained that during that time, "nothing gets in and nothing gets out". I was lucky enough to have mine arrive at this location on the 4th, just in time for the 2 week lockdown. That being said, the earliest it will ship is April 19, according to this representative at UPS. Hopefully that's helpful to some of you who are in the same situation.

So, in other words, Apple charged my credit card for both the computer and Applecare+, but the computer hasn’t and will not be shipped from Chek lap Kok for another week or two. How wonderful, Apple wants it’s money now, but will not give me the Mac Studio

Oh I get it. It’s extremely frustrating. 5 grand out of your pocket and you have nothing to show for it. It sounds like both Apple and UPS are as powerless in this situation as we are though. What would have been nice is if UPS sent that notification and set expectations about the delay.

Even worse with the AppleCare plus. The clock has already started and I’m gonna lose out a couple weeks

I literally watched a UPS flight on flightaware fly from Chek Lap Kok to Germany yesterday.
