Hi all,
I placed an order around march 9th for a M1 ultra/64 core gpu/128gb and I have still have a may 11-25 delivery date. I’m in the US, was just curious if anyone else in a similar situation has seen any movement in their order. Mine has not moved out of ‘order in process’ since march

Same goes for the studio display. Order the same day. It has a April 14-21st delivery date. But that too has not moved out of th ‘order in process’ status since march

I literally watched a UPS flight on flightaware fly from Chek Lap Kok to Germany yesterday.

Do you have details about this flight? Because it is probably the UPS flight we are all waiting for here in EU.
UPS will ship to Germany and then by train or truck the Studios are transferred to Eindhoven for DHL pickup and final delivery...

How many here are waiting in Europe that DHL pick up the parcel in Eindhoven?

Mine was shipped March 31 and since then no updates.

It was scheduled for delivery today April 12.

But it is still on
‘Shipper has generated a shipment label, but the shipment has not yet been handed over to DHL’.

Apple support cannot tell me where my Mac Studio is, not even DHL can tell me where it is…

Only information I have is that it exited the factory in China on March 31…

I am also waiting for my order. Also announced shipping for April 11 and since March 31 nothing happens at DHL. However, you can still see that, for example, currently DHL Cargo planes fly from Hong Kong to Germany. So there is still hope 😅

So, in other words, Apple charged my credit card for both the computer and Applecare+, but the computer hasn’t and will not be shipped from Chek lap Kok for another week or two. How wonderful, Apple wants it’s money now, but will not give me the Mac Studio

Apple shipped it, and charged your card when it was shipped. it’s in the hands of the shipper now.
it’s really frustrating for all of us in this situation, and probably a logistical nightmare for Apple.
I wish the process could be a little smoother, with better communication from Apple, but I don’t expect Apple to be in a position to control Covid lockdowns overseas.

Regarding the Apple Care+ clock, contact Apple customer support when you receive the computer and ask them to begin the coverage from the day it was received.

It would be nice if UPS were less cryptic and more useful on their website/tracker. As it is, they just look shambolic and disorganised.

unfortunately it is not available, I think it is a bulk shipping...

UPS tracking still shows mine being delivered today by 7pm but it doesn't show out for delivery! Still shows "on the way" so my hopes are going way down!!

Exactly...

For us Americans, there is a flight from Hong Kong to Anchorage that is in the air RIGHT NOW!

So the whole "2 week long down... nothing is getting out" is just not true.

Having had a look at the UPS flights from HK to Europe, there was one yesterday which I guess we all missed and there isn’t one listed (yet) for the next few days although there is supposed to be one a day. Plenty of flights heading to Alaska though. I’ve just had another delayed shipping message so I suspect it’s another day of delay.

Shipping delayed for me too, Mac Studio shipped on March 29 with DHL, it was supposed to arrive on April 8 but it didn’t arrive, I contacted Apple and they told me that is stuck in China since April 3, it’s stuck in Shanghai or Hong Kong? hope it will arrive soon

Sorry to hear that. That is pretty strange being that both were going to the same state. Hope it may be that your tracking info hadn't updated yet?

Not upset. Just SUUUUUUUPER frustrated Apple's delivery window is by Friday this week. @will16 what was the date your Apple shipping confirmation gave you?

There are also some UPS flights that fly from Hong Kong Chek Lap Kok -> Dubai -> Cologne.
