I'm not certain that I read it correctly, but a post here a few days ago appeared to say that someone who lives in Alaska received his Mac Studio via China > Alaska > Kentucky > Alaska.

As far as I know, all computers destined for North America go through Anchorage. It would appear that they may also all go through Louisville, no gettin' off the plane at Anchorage :)
Yes, every new device I’ve ordered through Apple comes through Anchorage to Kentucky and back to Anchorage. It seems like an odd trip, but it will be back in Anchorage the next morning and out for delivery that day. It often amazes me how well it works.

In case anyone else is in a similar situation... I decided 8 days was too long for a package to sit at a UPS facility without an additional scan. I called UPS International Department and they explained that they consider the package to be lost and proceeded to give me a case number. They also explained that they have a "contract" with Apple where Apple is responsible for sending out a replacement in the event that UPS loses track of a package. That led me to creating a case with Apple, which will take up to 2 business days to investigate and respond back to me with details. If it's determined that the package is lost in transit, then Apple has to build a new BTO and send it out again, which is likely several additional weeks.

I honestly would have kept waiting patiently (until Friday when the Apple committed date was) until I saw that others had shipped out after mine and seem to have made their way out of the Hong Kong UPS shipping facility, while mine seems as though it's still there.

Hopefully nobody else is in this position but if you are, perhaps this information can help you.

After seeing this, I decided to call UPS to set up an inquiry and then Apple as well. My Studio BTO would seem to be among the lost as well and I've followed the same procedure as Aaton35. The last scan activity was on April 4 in Hong Kong with a supposed delivery date of April 6 (according to UPS, apple said April 15). I suspect there is a palate or two of Mac Studios collecting dust in the corner of a UPS warehouse.

If your tracking number is among those that hasn't shown activity since April 4, then it's probably a good idea to get started making a claim as suggested by Aaton35.

UPS is now indicating delivery date of April 14 (in US)! Although if you click on the progress detail still says the MacStudio is in Hong Kong....
Problem is I just received my trade in kit (mac mini 2018) which I need to return in 14 days.
Called Apple, the annoying phone "AI" dispatched me to a support person that very gently told me they cannot extend the return time window and if I cannot send it back in time the trade-in will be cancelled.....'call us again when it gets cancelled and let's see what we can do.... '

Now hoping to really get the mac studio in two days....if that really happens...BIG kudos to APPLE!!!

From past experience, I have called Apple and told them I didn’t receive the trade in kit (even though UPS said it was delivered), and Apple sent a new kit — resetting the clock. In my case this was true (I didn’t get it), but resending a new kit and restarting the clock was no big deal. I even did it over chat. I’m sure they will resend one if it’s warranted.

Originaly Apple said April 7- April 14, but now Apple says April 21… with the Covid lockdowns in Hong Kong, I’m hopeful it’s sometime this month.

My order just departed HK apparently and is scheduled for a Thursday delivery to the Netherlands. Original order was on March 22 and original delivery estimate was 25-29 April. Arrived in HK on the 8th where it hung around and drank some beers with a load of other Mac Studios for a while :)
I hope mine won’t stick around for another beer and joins yours in its trip to the Netherlands (and it should know the beers here in Belgium are something to look forward to).
How did you get this information, did you call Apple, because all I have is a DHL tracking number that is not very active yet.

I have a UPS tracking number which the apple tracking page directed me to. Not a DHL number.

Surprised to see that it has now moved to "Shipped". Considering that Shanghai is locked down and so many cities have logistics problems, it's really a testament to Apple's and China's capabilities in keeping things moving along. Targeted delivery is now Thursday April 14th, a full month ahead of schedule.

I'm a heavy photo editor in documenting my travels at fcracer.com so I'm excited to see if the dream of instantaneous and smooth edits of 102MP GFX100S files on a 5k screen can finally be a reality.
Happy to share that my Max 10/32/64GB/1TB ordered on March 9th, with shipping date of May 8-22 has arrived safe and sound on April 13. Speaking of sound, I don't have any unusual noises coming from the machine; I can't hear it over the ambient noise in my room.

Setup hasn't gone as successful however; Migration Assistant refuses to use the Thunderbolt cable to transfer information, so now I'm trying to use target disk mode and force it. I also had a heck of a time getting the mouse and keyboard to connect. It turns out that you just need to turn off the accessory, turn it on and then wait a long time.

Good luck to those waiting for your machines! It's been fun being in your company the past month!

Good morning everyone. I ordered the Mac Studio on March 9th, it was shipped on April 2nd (at least so I was informed) with delivery scheduled for April 14th but still today from the DHL site it is only generated the label. I called Apple support and was told that I have to wait for the delivery date indicated although I personally don't think it will arrive by that date.

My Ultra was shipped on 29th March and was supposed to be delivered in the EU in Apr 7. I just called Apple to check on my 'investigation' status and they say it arrived at NL yesterday finally (so maybe indeed used the HKG - CGN UPS flight) and now it's pending pickup by DHL. So in my case delivery increasingly looks like it should be either tomorrow or next Tuesday (Easter holidays in between).

Hi all,
I placed an order around march 9th for a M1 ultra/64 core gpu/128gb and I have still have a may 11-25 delivery date. I’m in the US, was just curious if anyone else in a similar situation has seen any movement in their order. Mine has not moved out of ‘order in process’ since march

Same goes for the studio display. Order the same day. It has a April 14-21st delivery date. But that too has not moved out of th ‘order in process’ status since march

Thanks
Yep, I’m in the exact same situation with my Mac Studio and have the exact same configuration as you (plus a 2TB SSD in my case). An authorization for the amount of the computer appeared on my credit card a couple weeks ago, but it subsequently dropped off with no movement on my order. :(

Just a simple question before I call of Apple. Here in United States we have a two week time period to send back the Studio for any reason. My question is, when does a two week period start, when it initially ships or when it arrives in the United States at your doorstep? Anybody know? Hate for the lockdown and the items stays at the airport and goes nowhere and the clock ticks by.

I wanted to give an update to all those who are waiting for DHL to collect the shipment from Eindhoven (Netherlands, the):

I just called Apple Support and by checking with the consultant the status of the complaint relating to the mega delay in delivery, we understood at least three things.

1. Orders are shipped from China to Cologne (or directly to Eindhoven I didn't understand this) by UPS and then they are entrusted to DHL for final delivery.

2. my Mac Studio has been stopped in Shanghai China since April 4 (the day the last move was recorded - seen from the internal tracking of Apple logistics). This happens due to the lockdown that China has imposed on international flights (internal flights continue to operate).

3. Apple is pressuring UPS Shanghai to transfer the pallet with Mac Studio from Shanghai to Hong Kong (Hong Kong flights depart regularly) via domestic flight.

Those of UPS China should have already thought about this directly, but obviously they don't care ...

So Apple has two business days to give me an answer for this absurd situation caused by the Chinese government and the lack of flexibility on the part of UPS Shanghai.

My Mac Studio could have already been moved to Hong Kong for at least a week and already arrived at me ...

Also because there is no precise date when international flights from Shanghai to Europe will be reopened.

****
I therefore recommend to all those who are waiting for the Mac Studio and have the wording with DHL 'The sender has produced a label but the shipment has not yet been entrusted to DHL' in Eindhoven to call Apple and open a verification on the shipment.

All those who have their pallets locked in Shanghai could wait until a later date (it is not known when China will remove the lockdown on international flights and there is even talk of at least mid-May !!!).

Good luck to all who are in this situation!

Fourteen calendar days from when you receive the computer.

Mine was supposed to arrive today but still in processing. This is a base ultra model.

I am guessing based on commentary here that ultras are running a week behind and maxes are a week ahead?
