I wanted to give an update to all those who are waiting for DHL to collect the shipment from Eindhoven (Netherlands, the):

I just called Apple Support and by checking with the consultant the status of the complaint relating to the mega delay in delivery, we understood at least three things.

1. Orders are shipped from China to Cologne (or directly to Eindhoven I didn't understand this) by UPS and then they are entrusted to DHL for final delivery.

2. my Mac Studio has been stopped in Shanghai China since April 4 (the day the last move was recorded - seen from the internal tracking of Apple logistics). This happens due to the lockdown that China has imposed on international flights (internal flights continue to operate).

3. Apple is pressuring UPS Shanghai to transfer the pallet with Mac Studio from Shanghai to Hong Kong (Hong Kong flights depart regularly) via domestic flight.

Those of UPS China should have already thought about this directly, but obviously they don't care ...

So Apple has two business days to give me an answer for this absurd situation caused by the Chinese government and the lack of flexibility on the part of UPS Shanghai.

My Mac Studio could have already been moved to Hong Kong for at least a week and already arrived at me ...

Also because there is no precise date when international flights from Shanghai to Europe will be reopened.

****
I therefore recommend to all those who are waiting for the Mac Studio and have the wording with DHL 'The sender has produced a label but the shipment has not yet been entrusted to DHL' in Eindhoven to call Apple and open a verification on the shipment.

All those who have their pallets locked in Shanghai could wait until a later date (it is not known when China will remove the lockdown on international flights and there is even talk of at least mid-May !!!).

Good luck to all who are in this situation!
Called Apple, basically the same story, but there's only so much they can do to get the pallet moving. They repeated their offer to call back when it's delivered to receive some sort of compensation. The latter should be enough reason for anybody to give them a call ;)

There’s a load (with mine on it) which left HK yesterday and arrived this morning in Dubai via Taiwan. They should be on the UPS flight to cologne this afternoon and arrive late tonight.

Assuming truck connections go as hoped, any NL deliveries should go ahead tomorrow. Otherwise it will be next Tuesday I think due to the holidays. Delivery to the UK takes another day which is why you guys get hit by the Easter delay.

"Soon" is a flexible word, but this is definitely pushing it :)

My Ultra was shipped on 29th March and was supposed to be delivered in the EU in Apr 7. I just called Apple to check on my 'investigation' status and they say it arrived at NL yesterday finally (so maybe indeed used the HKG - CGN UPS flight) and now it's pending pickup by DHL. So in my case delivery increasingly looks like it should be either tomorrow or next Tuesday (Easter holidays in between).
Also mine was shipped on the 29th March, hope to see updates from DHL today

Any guess on the value of the compensation?

Like say£50 or more?

It's going to factor in how bad the screw up was, how much of it was actually Apple's fault, possibly your history with Apple products, and how mad you are.
I've had a situation like this before where I had a bad Apple Genius repair experience in 2017 (I knew what the problem was, I told them, they dragged it out over several weeks and made me take it home 3x to 'test' other cheaper solutions first).
I was escalated, they offered compensation, and I negotiated a Magic Keyboard out of them.

Just got shipping notification for my Studio Display--shipping via "DI Overnight" for delivery tomorrow!

Original estimate was April 7 - 14.
Delivered! That wraps it up for my order, assuming inspection goes ok when I get home.

Note: for both shipments I did not get a shipping notification from Apple until the day before delivery, but both my Studio and Display arrived within estimates from time of purchase.

UPS have deposited a load in cologne this evening, hopefully some of it is being loaded onto trucks and heading this way and maybe the rest will be stuck on another aeroplane bound for the UK :)

Looks like a bunch of units got lost. Batch from April 4 lost in HK UPS So replacements mean wait till end of June mid July since it will be starting at the back of the line. But at least you do not get charged for it.

Yes that’s the batch I’m in. They are currently “investigating it” but Apple did say replacements would be prioritized over all other orders… whatever that actually means we’ll find out. They have 24 hours left to “resolve my case and either re-issue the order or refund me”.

Max, 1tb Studio delivered today (April 6th) USA

Ordered March 17th
Expected April 15 - April 22

Studio Display expected April 11 - April 18. Still stuck in processing.

Received Return Kit for my 27" Mac, return shipping label was missing. Called Apple and they'll be sending another Return Kit rather than just e-mailing a shipping label. Waste of cardboard. View attachment 1987416
USA
Received Studio Display today (April 13th). This completes the waiting.

FYI....initial thoughts. No noise issues on either the display or the Max Studio. The speakers on the display IMO sound very good compared to my 27" Mac. The camera can use an update, it's ok but not as good as it can be. The migration from the back-up drive went well.

Good luck to everyone...and Happy Easter to all.

Apple estimated delivery of my high spec Mac Studio end of April, but then I got an email from UPS for delivery on 12th April between 10am-12pm, I cancelled some meetings to clear the day, I waited and nothing arrived. I called apple and they took my details and said they would pass it on to UPS. My status with UPS is now:

Estimated delivery Information not available.
Investigation Opened We've begun an investigation to locate the parcel.

I received another email from UPS today:

I am writing in regards to an investigation of a package ___. Could you please advise if you have received this package? Did you receive a replacement?

It was sent to you by *** APPLE DISTRIBUTION *** and it was scheduled for delivery on ** 12/04/22*** .

Also, could you please advise if the delivery address we have is full and correct:

Reading other people's posts here it seems the Mac users know more about what is going on at UPS than UPS.

I have no idea what I'm supposed to do next. Apple... please don't use UPS.

Curious to know the outcome. I wonder how many were on that Pallet that was lost. How the heck do you lose a whole pallet of computers? I wonder if it was stolen. What was your expected delivery date? I was told to contact them on Friday since that is the expected date.

Is this confirmed that it was lost or are you assuming. Mine is in this batch as well based on dates and location .

In my call to UPS international support yesterday, the agent said that they considered the package lost. I gather that Aaton35 was told something similar. What lost means I don't know, perhaps it's just the easiest thing for them to enter to start an investigation. As others have pointed out it's difficult to imagine how a pallet of two could go missing, but I'm sure the pandemic situation probably has something to do with it.

Interestingly, as of this evening, the UPS app shows a rescheduled delivery for April 15 (matching Apple's conservative estimate when the studio actually shipped) on my tracking number. There is no actual scan activity since 4/4 in HK though, just the notation that an investigation was opened yesterday.

We shall see.
