Don't loose hope. I was in the same situation as you, and yesterday I called UPS CR International after seeing your original post about them telling you that your computer was considered as lost. Mine had been in Homg Kong since 4/4/22. The CR I talked to said the delay was due to a screening issue, that the screening had been done and passed, and that I should see an update on the tracking page within 48 hours. One hour later the tracking went from "On the way, delay, delivery date unknown" to "On the way, delivery on 4/15". And this morning the package had moved from Chek Lap Kok to Taiwan. Yours should be moving soon. Good luck.
According to UPS my studio max is supposed to be delivered today by 7pm in US…..while shipping details says it’s still in HK since 4/11. Apple app says delivery is May 7-13.
Seems UPS tracking is seriously screwed up and not really tracking the actual package .

If you order today (April 14), the window for that configuration is July 8-25.
I ordered a Max 32/64/2TB on April 1st and got June 27-July 1. The window hasn't shortened, which doesn't surprise me. If it does, I imagine that it won't happen for awhile yet. Lockdowns in China probably don't help expedite production and shipping

Happened to me too, but the return window is still fixed at April 25 by Apple. During contact with Apple last Tuesday they assured it will come before April 23. I'm afraid Apple is here overpromising, following this thread.
What I'm seeing in this thread is the opposite. Most people are getting their computer within the window or before, with several lately in the latter group.
Sounds like there's a problem at UPS affecting certain shipments. If you've been following news about Covid in Shanghai and Hong Kong, this shouldn't be surprising. I'm kind of amazed at the reaction, actually. You'd think that some people have no idea what the pandemic is about or what impact it's had.
If I understand certain of the posts, some people are complaining that early delivery may not happen

Yeah mine says delivery by tonight at 7pm but it’s still in HK, so not a chance haha. Hopefully this tracking starts moving…did yours say anything about clearing customs?
Nah I'm more complaining about the lack of information from Apple and the fact they took the money out of my account weeks ago yet there's no clear indication when they'll actually deliver what I pay for. B&H also have a BTO M1 Max 10/32/32/4TB in stock and ready to ship.
are you talking about the mac studio? it can be used by whoever you want. There is no restriction of apple ID to who can log in or have an account on it or claim it as theirs.
Now if you are talking about apple care, then there are probably some tie ins with your account you would have to call them to move it maybe. Anyone done that?
it may be that you are the only person allowed to file an incident/issue with applecare as they see you as the primary owner. I'd call apple. I know you can gift it, so I don't think they will have an issue with transferring it but I would call.
AppleCare is linked to a device, not to an account. The device itself will be linked to the person who enters their Apple ID when setting it up.

The reference to getting a stock alert may be misleading. This configuration is in stock for the moment.
Mine originally said May 10-17. Last week it changed to April 14, which is today. All wee long it indicated by 7:00 this evening, but now UPS says information will be provided as soon as possible. That tells me I am probablyy delayed. The monitor is scheduled for deliver April 20-27. No word on it shipping yet
UPS scanning issues they say, happened to me.
UPS system seemed to make the date early than was really ever going to happen, by a week or so.
Was that how long yours was delayed? Looking into it further my package arrived in Hong Kong on 4/12 and there it sits. if my package arrived there on the 12th why did UPS, all the way up to 4:00 yesterday, say it was arriving on 4/14?
