Wow I’m not able to work with such a big DPI difference on the same machine. I always think intuitively the low resolution display is broken. 😄
There's no DPI difference. The CB240HYK and CB241HYK are both UltraHD. I think they're even the same panel. The only real difference I can see is that the stands are different.

May I ask? Why you need/want a Thunderbolt Dock with a Mac Studio? I get that with a MacBook Pro M1 in a desktop configuration "could be" a must have but not so sure about the advantages of having another box next to the Studio. Am I missing something here?

I bought the TS3+ (and a Plugable before that) before the Studio Display was a thing, and I have been using it with two monitors connected through DisplayPort. Also, I use the TOSLINK for audio connection to my receiver, Ethernet for network and I use USB ports for microphone, camera, scanner, SuperDrive, external disks and a Lightning cable. I also use the card reader from time to time.

I will continue to use it after I get a Studio Display (or possibly two) because the Studio Display only has three USB-C ports, of which none are Thunderbolt. Ethernet and TOSLINK are essential, so if I used USB dongles connected to the Studio Display there would only be one port left.

Besides, I like to have all this stuff tucked away under the desk and out of sight, not hanging off the back of the monitor.

EDIT: I just noticed your question was in regards to the Mac Studio specifically. I have not ordered one, and will be using the Studio Display with a 14" MacBook Pro, which of course doesn't have all the ports the Mac Studio has. Had I intended to use it with a Mac Studio instead I would not have purchased a Thunderbolt dock if I didn't already have one.

So Mac Studios are ONLY assembled by Foxconn and ONLY at the facilities closed?
Key Mac Studio components built at Shenzhen Foxconn facilities, both are now shut down. Sorry to burst your bubble. You can find this info yourself. Its unfortunate news but it is what it is.

Don't read something into my reply that's not there - it's not bursting my bubble. That's lazy.

We'll see how your statement shakes out.

“Due to our diversified production sites in China, we have adjusted the production line to minimize the potential impact,” Foxconn said in a statement to CNBC.

“Apple/Foxconn have the ability to relocate production to other areas in the short term provided that there is not a significantly higher duration of lockdown,” the firm’s analysts wrote. “An increased period of shutdowns can cause ripple effects at other components that can create a shortfall in production.”

As I understand it, one of the reasons that Tim Cook became CEO of Apple was that he knows how to make the supply chain work. I wouldn't pay a lot of attention to the Armageddon posts of someone who has no idea what contingency plans Apple has in place, and is making assertions about Chinese coronavirus measures, and their length/impact, that he also knows nothing about.

How are some of you finding out UPS shipping info? I tried the UPS track by reference with no luck. Are you using My Choice? Mine is being shipped to my UPS Store mailbox so I can't use My Choice.

I'm moving from an iMac 27" to a Mac Studio. So I won't be able to setup the Mac Studio until the Apple display arrives, which is 3-4 days after the Mac Studio is suppose to show up.

2-3 week gap for me, but I have a crappy loaner from work I can use until I get my new display. I'm going to check stores on Friday, too.

I don't have a full view of reference tracking, but I got Monday the 21st by 7pm and I don't think I have anything else coming via UPS atm.

Ordered my base model with +$200 processor bump and had a March 30th - April 6th target date at the time of order.

Order status went into "Preparing to Ship" on Saturday, although the target days have remained the same. Was hoping for some notification today, but we'll see. *crosses fingers*

I have the same "problem" and I will use my TV in the meantime to be able to check if the Mac Studio works at least. 🙂

No need to get upset. Units will ship it will just be a few months down the line. Some models already showing 12 weeks out. I will just keep using what I have till my Mac Studio ships. Not the end of the world.

<chuckle> Not upset - I did not order a Studio. Just advised to not read into a comment something that's not there.

Will check back to see how accurate your prediction is.
