Just had a call with UPS. Our package is in customs in China at the moment and Shenzhen lockdown is not affecting the delivery. Major phew!
Mine just changed to preparing for shipment.
Ordered as soon as event ended.

mine being a 32-core Max.
I know these are strange times but a month from now when it arrives I'll have long-exhausted the excitement of ordering it. Bit like when you order a really nice meal in a restaurant, your mouth is watering at the prospect of tasting it, then after a 40+ minute wait and still no sign of it, you've got to the point where you don't care what you eat, in your mind you guiltily visualise the small dog sat quietly at the next table rotating round on a spit, and you half wish you'd just gone to McDonald's for a Big Mac and a McFlurry.

It should've already since it's UPS World Ease (one customs check for all the packages)
Thats not entirely accurate. Some none BTO orders may get moved in bulk to Louisville, KY before they are separated and processed for shipment. This order usually don’t get a tracking number until later in the week.
Yes, I've had that before with iPhone. Thinking they may use stock destined for stores to fill early base orders. Time will tell.

Should the Apple stores have any available for pick up on Friday? Specifically M1Max configured with 1tb ssd. I'm sure no one will know for certain. I am holding out on ordering and may pull the trigger if they have a pick up option Friday.
