Same thing with me. Last Saturday, I saw a base level Studio on scan.co.uk and snapped it up. Delivered on Sunday as well. It was a snap decision but I don’t regret it. The base Ultra was still subject to pre-order though.

In the UK, ordered a M1 Max 24-GPU, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD from Jigsaw24 yesterday when it was listed as "in stock" - and is apparently with the courier for delivery tomorrow... Better than apple.co.uk where that config was late June/early July. We'll see, but I'm inclined to trust Jigsaw.

Think I may have snagged the last one, though... but I guess it's worth checking around the big dealers.

In the U.S., B&H has had some baseᐩ Maxes. There's also been a post here about a Canadian reseller with a baseᐩ model.

I received mine today but won't have a display for about a month according Apple. I talked with Apple on the phone and they said they can make an exception for this and allow a 30 day return policy, but offer me no confirmation on this policy. I may be able to run it off my wife's work Dell display, but I may just return it if I don't get to fully test it out. I don't want to risk getting stuck with one of these whining machines.

Apple are aware of the problem. No matter what, you should have your 14-days testing period, and you can’t test anything without the display you bought. Regardless if your wife have another one.

You ordered a display that is delayed for so many of us. Apple knows of this probably all over the globe by now, I hope.

My Apple contact said that she will extend the return further (I was also promised 30 days without hassle) if I don’t receive my Studio Display within that already extended return period.

I hope the Studio Display arrive soon though.
Gotta be positive 🍀

Agreed. I do plan to run it off the other display just to see if it works or has any noise issues.

I cancelled the Studio Display. At this point there's no telling when it would have arrived as it was already pushed back to mid June.

I instead ordered a Dell UltraSharp which will still take a few weeks to arrive.

I really wanted a Studio Display but these supply chain delays are very troubling and not just for the computer industry. I fear we are in this for a few years.

Currently marked arrives June 22 - 29
May 10: initial charge from Apple
Still processing.

In this case, I hope it speeds up and delivers by Mon or Tues . . . or stalls out for 7-10 days and doesn't deliver for 2 weeks or more since . . . I won't be home 😢

Sweet, basically the same thing I was told, Ultra - 20/64/32 - 64GB/1TB. Must be a flood of Ultras incoming.
I really hope you are right! 2 months so far for mine, never has changed status yet. This waiting has gotten OLD... Fingers crossed for all of us!

Just an update on this: order went to shipped last night with a tracking number.

Apple says delivery on May 26 and UPS says May 16. I’m more inclined to trust the pessimistic number given everyone else’s experience, but even with the later date, I’ll still see it a month early!

@BenGieCruz, @evilhsoj (posts just above) and I ordered the same Max configuration: 32 graphics cores, 64GB memory, 2TB storage.

They ordered on March 24th and 31st respectively, I ordered on April 1st.

They both now have UPS tracking numbers for U.S. delivery this Monday, May 16th.

As of this morning (8AM Friday on the US east coast, 8PM in Shenzhen), my order is still "Processing". My credit card payment to Apple has been "pending" for three days (since Tuesday), so perhaps I'll see some progress on shipping this weekend. Still looks certain that I'll receive my Max well before my current delivery window of June 22-29, and original delivery window of June 27-July 11.

If I had continued reading I would have seen:

>When your order has shipped, we'll send you tracking information. Due to the impact of COVID-19 and increased demand for online shopping, we recommend visiting Track Shipment for the most up-to-date delivery information, as well as options to reschedule or hold for pickup.

Good to know. If my order does show up in the predicted delivery window, there are a couple of days I might be out of town... It's unlikely, but those options at least put my mind to ease, just in case.

Yes – mine was marked as delayed but was on the move again almost immediately. In Hong Kong now – scheduled for arrival on the 16th...we’ll see!

Great! If you don't mind, I'd be interested in what the routing is for Hong Kong to the UK when you get courier data showing what it is.
