Ordered on 4/6/2022, M1 Max with 32-core GPU, 64 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD. Originally predicted to arrive in late June to July, but arrived at my doorstep yesterday, 5/20/2022. Meanwhile, my Studio Display with adjustable base, ordered at the same time, is still "processing" and forecast to arrive in June (wide range of dates - it's practically the whole month). The iMac that this replaces was being used with an external display so this is fine, I can still use it, I'm just waiting on that Studio Display to return to dual-screen workflows.
Same as you. I feared the worst with the noise problems of the Mac studio. I'm not saying that what people are saying is false but mine is very quiet. We actually hear a very slight fan noise but it's insignificant on my machine anyway. I was lucky or I have a problem with my ears. It's almost imperceptible!
All of the reports of the noise worried me, as well. So far, my Studio has been totally silent even for tasks that would have revved the fans up on my old late 2015 27" iMac. Granted, I have a bit of a head cold at the moment and we've been running the ceiling fan a bit higher, so I'm not quite in a state where I'm at my most sensitive... but I hear the gentle hum of my NAS that sits a few feet away, nothing from the Studio that is literally sitting arm's reach from me. It's a relief.
