I'd like to see what Marques Brownlee, Dave Lee and AnandTech have to say, but it seemed pretty clear from Brownlee's video on the March 8 event that he didn't have a Mac Studio in his possession. Maybe he's gotten one since.
The Reviewers usually get the products from Apple within a few days of the event

Here in Toronto it says March 18th shipment for me as the day it will “arrive” and I’m off that day too so will see. I got the base ultra.

Welp. I’m in Melbourne, Aus. Ordered Mac Studio Max 3 mins after store went live. Order status said March 18th delivery from time of order and it’s been on Preparing to Ship for days with payment authorised. Just got an email and text from Apple saying my order may arrive 2 business days later than expected. Although on the order status it still says March 18th delivery.

The DaringFireball review for the iPhoneSE went up on Tuesday. Seems unlikely he wasn’t on the list for a Studio review unit so hoping he posts his review today.
I have a sneaking suspicion that it'll be the Air today and the Studio products tomorrow, but I truly hope I'm wrong. Jonesing to see more on these.

Are you all creative professionals or is anyone here an average Joe (computer usage-wise) that just wants this for fun? Anyone planning to own this + a MBP?
Not a creative professional, I'm a freelance translator (which involves Parallels and a lot of CAT tools, just not as demanding as video processing tools etc.). I have a M1 Pro MBP 14" but since my livelihood depends on a working computer, I always like to have two setups (expensive "hobby" I know). Last summer I had issues with my then MBP, and rush bought a M1 MBA to get me through until the new MBPs came out. I will trade in that MBA for a Mac Studio.

I'm not a creative pro, I just need a Mac with a reasonable amount of RAM and power as I do a bit of everything and my day job needs me to run virtual machines alongside my Mac apps.

I do have a laptop, but want a desktop which is always on and can be used as a quasi-server for some things too. That with the new monitor gives me a very clean setup thanks to the screen having a built-in good quality webcam & speakers. I've been using my MBP for this purpose with external monitors for the last while but want a cleaner, tidier setup!

Nobody (except for the people under the NDA) knows. In all likelihood the iPad Air reviews will go up either Wednesday or Thursday, and the Mac Studio / Studio Display will go up on the other day.
I expect both the iPad Air and Mac Studio reviews to hit Today. Apple has allowed more than one product on a day before, but I don't recall the last time (or if they did it before at all) they didn't have all embargos lifted by the Wednesday of the week it is launching.

Movement for the 3/12 10:50 Shenzen scan crew - new scan this morning, departed Shanghai 11/16 @ 5:04pm. I expect there will be some more movement today/tomorrow within Shanghai and a final clearing agency release then on to Incheon, RK.

Fair enough! ? can’t wait

While I’m not certain our shipments were delayed, it’s interesting seeing the double departure scans and then seeing this article published the same day. https://9to5mac.com/2022/03/16/shenzhen-iphone-production-partially-restarts/
Multiple departure scans are normal - we saw them routinely with iPhone shipments as they move from the factory to different UPS facilities and customs. It just looks redundant to us since we just see the city and local time.

I see someone posted a link to flight aware for a path from Shanghai to Louisville Anchorage via Tokyo. Not sure if ours are on that flight, there is usually a scan when the containers are cleared for release. The timing is right, though, and it's clear there are missing scans - departed Shenzen but none when it arrived in Shanghai. We'll know more when that linked flight gets to Japan.
