Mine still stuck in preparing to ship but delivering on Friday. Also can't pull the Track by Reference up at all Screen Shot 2022-03-16 at 11.37.21 AM.png

My Studio Display with a launch day delivery time finally “shipped”. As in, UPS reference tracking and a financing email let me know, but it still says that it is preparing to ship on the Apple Store app.

Meanwhile, my Mac Studio is still processing, despite being charged several days ago.

Mine is still Processing with delivery date for April 1 - April 8. Placed my order March 10th so pretty sure it will go to Preparing to Ship by early next week after Apple is done processing launch day orders.

Mine was preparing to ship with a delivery date of March 21-22 and suddenly the status changed and I got a new delivery timeframe: April 1-5!!!
I ordered on the first 5 minutes after the store came back online on March 8th. I ordered a base Mac Studio with 1TB SSD..

I'm on the same boat as you, also changed from 21-22 March to 1-5 April :S first time ever that I'll get an Apple product later than the original delivery date... Fingers crossed it changes back to 21-22 March, but I don't think so... :(

Well that's a bummer that some people's order statuses are taking a step backwards. Still showing my original March 30th - April 6th delivery range with my status in "Preparing To Ship" which happened on Saturday. Base model +$200 processor upgrade.

Fully expecting mine to step back too.

I'm in the same boat. It seems like if we don't see some movement soon that we won't be getting them on Friday. :(
If you are on the same Shipment as others, the US packages are en-route to Alaska right now. Once they clear customs, UPS worldwide can get packages to anywhere in the US within ~2days. We should know by tomorrow morning if they’re coming Friday or Monday.

Apple still says “preparing to ship” for all of us. We are using UPS My Choice to track the shipments. Apple will likely update the status once they clear customs in Alaska later today.

Apple needs to dump China and move operations elsewhere. China just isn’t reliable or trustworthy. If this delays my order I’ll just cancel it and buy a windows machine.
Your new Windows machine may well be coming from China too.

Can you suggest another place has more experience of building electronic products than China with a competitive price? Then I suggest you write an email to Tim, I am sure those stupid people in Apple who gets paid in millions has absolutely no ideas in manufacturing, supply chain and logistics.

I have a tracking number now. March 21, right in the original estimate window.
It will be funny if after all this hand wringing we all just start getting our new Macs according to original estimates.

For reference I have the base model with 0 upgrades and I am preparing to ship arriving 3/18. I have a feeling if you upgraded any component at all, you're seeing your date slip

No it’s based on when you ordered. Simply because of demand, they produce more lower-tier models, but people like me who ordered quickly (BTO) still have March 18 delivery.

Tracking number from Apple? Or you just found it on UPS My Choice

I ordered right after the store re-opened, upgraded the CPU and storage, and my date has slipped

Apple still shows preparing to ship, est delivery March 18-22. But I now have an actual UPS tracking number on My Choice that wasn't showing before. Departed Narita early this morning. M1 Max 10/24 with 1TB.
