BTO Mac Studio Max 32/64/2 TB
Ordered Friday 7/15
Credit card pending Monday 7/18

This will be a replacement for a similar unit I returned back in May due to whine issues. I upgraded the drive to 2 TB this go around.

I tracked a flight from Cologne to East Midlands last night but there was no update on the tracking page, then this morning it says that at 0535 it “Departed facility” (Cologne) and there hasn’t been an update since. So I’m assuming it’s being shipped by truck or train from Cologne to the UK. Hopefully my Mac Studio will arrive by the end of the week 🤞🏼

(I know, I need to chill out - I was just as bad when my Tesla was coming from China!)

Update: UPS delivered mine yesterday!
I'm really happy so far with the performance of this beast.I been doing some premiere and After effects exports and zero noise from the fans during the process. Coming from a MBP 2017 15" that throttles a lot and get stuck all the time with heavy after effects projects, this one is crazy fast and I feel that I can work properly at last.
Hope all the delayed order get delivered really soon, guys!

Congrats! 😀
Glad to hear you’re enjoying it and it’s as impressive as the reviews say.

MAX/32/64/8TB Ordered July 18 (after cancelling a July 10 order MAX/32/64/4TB, wish I had re-ordrred faster as I start a new call in talk show Living with Disabilities on August 1. Delivery Estimate August 10-16

UPS are really starting to irritate now. After updating the delivery date to 20 July yesterday and sending me an email that says the same (as has Apple) - this morning the tracking page has now gone back to saying “The delivery date will be provided as soon as possible.” And the detailed tracking info says “The package is being held for a future delivery date. We'll attempt to deliver on the date requested.
Tamworth, United Kingdom”
*sigh*

Order placed with UK Education supplier 100 days ago today!!!
Sure when I checked the Apple website at that time estimated delivery was June.

11 April*/Ultra/Standard Spec
*Purchase order sent to supplier

The status changed to “delivery by end of 20 July” at around 0900 this morning but it’s still listed as “On its way” and not “Out for delivery”, I’ve taken a WFH day just in case but I honestly don’t know whether to expect it or not.
The Apple page does say “Out for delivery” tho. Very confusing.

^ multiple sources of truth always disagree!

Could the heat be causing delivery-chain issues?

I think missing the transfer at Cologne is the root of the problems.
My Mac Studio hasn’t been delivered today as suspected, the UPS website is still showing

Estimated delivery
Wednesday, July 20 by End of Day

But the last update in the details section still shows it at Tamworth with the following status

On the Way
The package is being held for a future delivery date. We'll attempt to deliver on the date requested.
Tamworth, United Kingdom

Apple still lists it as “Out for delivery” *sigh*

I guess I’ll wait for the next scan and update from UPS…

It seems the Max is more available. Even with special configuration. At times you can find them even in stock in the US.

However the Ultra even in its basic configuration is still struggling. My delivery window of 27th July to 10th August is approaching, but no sign of early delivery as seen with the Max.

Anyone with Ultra order in the US getting earlier delivery ?

I live in Spain. Same times for my m1 ultra base. Still waiting

UPDATE
UPS have delivered my Mac Studio to the wrong address, not even in the same town!

The status suddenly changed to "Delivered" this morning and the "details" section say it was delivered to a different town and received by someone with a different surname. UPS were very matter of fact about it, "Yeah its been delivered to the wrong address, I'll send you a claim form to fill in". On hold with Apple currently, no idea what the next steps will be. IMO they should send a replacement asap and sort this mess out with UPS but instead they're "starting an investigation" - god knows how long this will take.

This is an expensive item. Shouldn't UPS (or Apple) enforce that the recipient must be physically present to receive and sign for the item ?

It’s the whole reason I stayed home yesterday, as they won’t leave it anywhere else, which now seems a bit ironic.
I just received an email notification from UPS confirming delivery (rubbing salt in the wounds!) but the email had a post code in it. When I search for that post code in Apple Maps it shows an Amazon fulfillment centre!

Its a positive sign. At least it is not in the hands of any consumer recipient, thus u should be receiving it soon.
I hope so, bit strange that UPS would use Amazon for last (few) mile(s) deliveries though isn't it?

[UPDATE] Just received a "Thank you for your order" email from Apple, same order number as original, for the same spec Mac Studio, with a delivery date of 24 Aug - 1 Sept. So I guess Apple are just outright shipping a replacement and billing UPS for the first one. The law of sod says that the first one will turn up now today! But I suppose that's nothing a call to Apple can't solve. [/UPDATE]
