They do seem to be, this is one of the reasons I buy direct from Apple, you're not relying on someone else. My Ultra was ordered direct from Apple on the 26th April and took 86 days to arrive.

Ordered a Base Ultra on June 8th, and status changed to preparing to ship. I also had the charge hit my card on Monday but it disappeared last night. Is this normal for anyone else?

Max, 32 cores, 1 TB disk.

Ordered July 23th, payment hold on card on Aug 2nd, and yesterday the status changed to Shipped to store (Spain). Delivery slipped from Sep 2nd to Aug 24th.

Not if you buy from reseller that has stock.....:p
A UK ressller I use a lot had Ultra models for next day delivery, currently only Max BTO models (next day delivery).
But their stock changes weekly.

Ordered M1 Max 10/32 with 64 GB, 2 TB SSD on August 8. Showing a August 30 to September 7 delivery window. The order is currently being processed. A couple of days ago I noticed that the shipping time for all Mac Studio with 64/128 GB RAM is now 10-12 weeks out on Apple Canada.

Depending on the quality you're looking for. You may need to consider a thunderbolt PCIe expansion chassis. While Elgato makes a USB3 based 4K/30 capture device, I'm not happy with the color/image quality and prefer Black Magic gear.

Ordered 27/Jul: Max 10/32/64GB/1TB with a Studio display.
Original delivery ETA was 13-23 Sep

Just got a text and it’s been moved to 16-23 Sep. Sad.

Ordered M1 Max Mac Studio yesterday. Upgraded CPU & SSD to 1 TB for free at B&H. Should be here tomorrow. Replacing my outgoing base model (w/ 1 TB SSD) 2019 Mac Pro Rackmount edition.

Received mine today Aug 22. Ultra, 64GB RAM, 4TB. Ordered May 31. So just under 3 months to delivery.

I ordered Ultra 20/48/32, 1TB, 128GB on June 28 arrival window Sept 16-30. Charge just hit my card. Still waiting for order status to change.
