I know what pending means. Someone ordered July 15 has there system now, that's why I was hopeful
That's speedy. I got basically the same configuration, ordered June 8, haven't gotten any update on shipment yet.
Just got an e-mail from Apple, Shipped arriving Tuesday August 02, 2022 by end of day.

Ordered on 22/07/22 (Max 64gb 4tb) estimated date was 2nd of September at the earliest. Just shipped now lol. Studio Display still showing mid September.... Thanks for nothing apple
I don't know what country you're in but grab the InventoryWatch app and keep an eye on your local Apple stores (if you have any). You may find one available quicker and you can cancel the online order.

Here day 91, for M1 Ultra base. No news. I'm losing hope. I didn't think I'd get that far.
Just got my "Preparing ship" notification so I guess I'll be sticking with my Apple order for now.
I don't think so. When I was ordering, the expected dates were identical, whether I selected store pickup or home delivery.
I don't see any reason why it would be different.
If you have customizations, I would guess no it wouldn’t be faster. If you are getting a standard configuration and one becomes available at that store it may be faster. Though I’m not sure on that. Years ago I had a store pickup order that was weeks out. I decided to go to the store anyway and see if they had stock and I was surprised to find out they did. Apparently then, maybe even now, store inventory isn’t used to fill future pickup orders.

Today is the middle of the delivery window and still no movement yet.
Summary:
Not earlier, not in the first part of the delivery window. At this point at best towards the end of the window.

Ordered both Mac Studio Ultra and display w/ nano finish and vesa adapter on June 2 (USA)
Received the display yesterday Aug 2. Used my Dell Latitude 5420 and the Mac Studio display came right up at full resolution.
Waiting for my Ultra….Arrive window Jul 25 - Aug 8

Since my work Dell laptop didn’t have the brightness slider enabled I used the night light slider setting to adjust the brightness as a workaround

Long story short,
My Mac Studio arrived Thursday at 2:46PM after being held by UPS. To make things worse as I am visually impaired, Autistic etc I depend on my computer to survive and hence why I am on a 3-year cycle. But my iMac 2019 died hard Sunday night and well that's another story. I was without a computer, house bound, no TV (I hate TV in all forms), I could only sleep. The iMac is arriving Friday morning having been kindly picked up by a staff member.
Now I need to figure out how to store my projects for Logic and FCP for my new "Living with Disability" hosted by Trevor Harrison. which I will start monday. It's a call in show.
