I wanted a relatively inexpensive sleep for my 15" tMBP since it was also going to always go inside of a dedicated laptop back as well when traveling. I went with this one and highly recommend it for $15.

It fits nice and snug and the waterproof material feels durable. I'm betting it's more likely water "resistant" than "proof" but that's OK.

Also picked up this bag that I had been eyeing for a while as carrying my messenger bag into work is fine, but gets kind of annoying during any real travel. I recommend it if anyone's looking for a laptop backpack: http://www.ebags.com/product/ebags/...ckpack/318268?productid=10452816&cartItemId=1

I ended up ordering:

iCarbon Black Skin (top, bottom, keyboard, and sides)
Uppercase keyboard cover (though I have the Moshi ClearGuard on order too since it seems to cover the touchbar itself)
Waterfield Dash Sleeve

I pretty satisfied with this setup for the moment. Mainly decided to go with a skin over a snap-on-case since I have the Hyperdrive hub on order, and it doesn't look like hub will work with traditional cases. I like that the Dash opens vertically, so it's possible to charge my MBP when it's inside the sleeve

Here is my Joli Originals leather sleeve in grey, with black insides for the 13" TouchBar. I went with this after having a Joli for the last 5 years on my 11" Air. Expensive for a sleeve but excellent fit, and I prefer the opening being on the short side as it offers more protection if dropped and covers the exposed edges far more than the Harber London sleeve, which was my second choice.

It's tricky to get the shade of grey spot on so I've included two photos.

Received my Harber London thin leather sleeve for my 13" nTb. So far I am really impressed with the quality. I will keep you updated how it holds up after daily use.

Was going to grab one of these, but really wanted something that covers all sides. Shame really as they look really nice.

Yes the looks is what made me buy it. Since I use it in my backpack everyday inside a laptop compartment. Which is open at the top, so I mostly need top and bottom protection for the short side :)

Look at the Joli Original sleeve. Same design as Harber but opens on the short edge, offering slightly more protection to the exposed side by not having rounded corners.

Thanks for the suggestion, but want all sides covered and that's why I went with the Etsy one I posted earlier. It was a bit of a rush as my MBP order was originally shipping 9th-16th February and then suddenly shipped a couple of days ago. I had to find something quick! lol First world problems I guess!

Finally got the right size wrap/skin for the MBP from dbrand, a matte black top and bottom. My jobs mean the laptop gets used in a lot of different locations, both inside and outside, so I just wanted some sort of protection from those little scratches and marks you can pick up over time as I think they'll show up even more on space grey compared to the traditional sliver.

I kind of wish I had the balls to just let it get beaten up and weathered as I also have a funny feeling that would be a great look, especially if I wasn't concerned about resale value.

Was this hard to apply?

Not really... They do a good video on their site which explains the recommended method. The top was more difficult than the bottom, it took 4 or 5 attempts to get the top lined up exactly with the bottom right corner, but after that it was a breeze.

I got the Omoton fake leather sleeve for my tb15". It's very nice for the price, but unfortunately it's too big imo. It was advertised as being for the tb15" but it's a good inch wider than the computer, meaning it's not snug and it slides around inside... still costs only about 15$

Does anyone own the Pack & Smooch (Hampshire) that fits the 2015 Macbook Pro, not the new model but last years 2015 model. If so does it allow you to charge the 2015 Macbook Pro while it's in the case? I know the 2016 says you can charge it while it's in the case and they show pics, but can you do the same with the 2015 Macbook Pro w/ Magsafe connector while inside the case. Anyone have pics of 2015 model while it's charging?

Ping them a quick message as I'm not sure either.

Yeah they show pics that the 2016 allows charging while in case but they don't show any pics of the 2015 while charging so I'm assuming no. I'll send them an email to ask.
[doublepost=1485613185][/doublepost]I sent them an email but I think I just answered my own question as this video shows you can't charge the 2015 model while it's completely inside the case. This video shows there are no cut outs on the side, the felt sides go all the way up so I guess the answer is no. This must be a re-design they did for the 2016 model case. So should I get the 2016 model case to fit my 2015? hmm

Hmmmm, depends how tight the fit is really. They do look nice though don't they! Mine should be here early next week

Yeah I wonder if the 2016 case will fit the 2015 MacBook Pro. I should have asked them that too when I emailed them.
