I've been searching for a nice sleeve for my new 13 MacBook Pro and am about to give up. I just want a nice soft leather sleeve with some padding inside, but cannot find anything that I am fond of.

I got one of the new leather sleeves (in black, didn't want it to be too conspicuous) to go with my new 15" MacBook Pro. The quality is nice but I do wish the entire inside was soft felt-like material. As it is now, about 1/4 of the bottom side and all of the top side is bare leather where it touches the laptop. Still, the leather is quite soft and supple on the inside so it shouldn't be a problem.

Really pleased with this case by TomToc.

Tomtoc 360° Protective Sleeve for 15 Inch New MacBook Pro Touch Bar A1707 | 14 Inch ThinkPad Laptop, Shockproof Spill-Resistant Case Tablet Bag, Blue Black https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B078S8GCL7/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_XzFuBb884ND36

Very simple and solid design with YKK zippers for durability and reinforced corners and a soft plush lining inside with small circles to spread out pressure from anything. There’s also an internal lip to prevent the Mac making contact with the zip, and an external pocket which is plenty big enough - I’m able to store all my dongles and my thin 2tb external drive. The fit of the laptop is snug without being too much so that if it had a hard shell it would probably fit in the sleeve. It’s a good size and I feel offers great protection but is still able to fit into the laptop sleeve in my backpack. I would totally recommend.

I like this case.

Reckon you can fit a Hyperdrive Pro and a charger in the outer pocket without putting too much pressure on the laptop inside?

Would like a case under $50 (75 Max) that has a snug fit and preferably would allow me to charge while in the case, so a side loading case.

Anything good on Amazon? New 13 inch touchbar

Is it true there not lined in felt and that’s it’s just bare leather inside? Will it scratch?
Yes bare leather. I haven't had issues when I had it. I will try and see what happens after repeated inserts and withdrawals when I get my new laptop.

Can anyone provide pics of the leather ones. I got the Pack and Smooch dk gray and like how it works and has held up great but it does shed fibers. The leather sounds nice but I’m surprised it’s not lined in felt or some protection.

- Apple's website says that "a soft microfiber lining keeps your 15-inch MacBook Pro protected wherever you take it."

I guess I was looking for user pics and what it looks like inside which Apples website doesn’t show. Those are just studio pictures.

The same description is listed for the sleeve for the iPad Pro. I have the iPad Pro sleeve and only one side has the microfiber lining, but the side that doesn't is lined with the same leather that is on the outside which is smooth and has never scratched my iPad.

I got the Inateck sleeve here for my 2018 MBP.

I used one with my Mid 2014 MBP, primarily to put in before putting it in my backpack. It's also handy as you can place the laptop on it so it sits in between the surface and your laptop.

Also ordered the ICON sleeve to see what all the fuss is about with them

Those look nice. I just got new 2018 MBP. I ordered a skin. Would the MBp with skin fit in the sleeve?

Should fit the inateck one fine, not sure about the icon sleeve as I haven't received it yet

Assuming the skin adds minimal bulk, as opposed to a case which does.
