didn't realize you cannot put it in a backpack with the sleeve. Guess I won't be picking up the order.

Anyone have the Incase woolenex sleeve that is sold at the Apple store? If so, how does the new 2018 15” MBP fit?

Thanks

Should fit the inateck one fine, not sure about the icon sleeve as I haven't received it yet

Assuming the skin adds minimal bulk, as opposed to a case which does.

Does the inateck fit in a backpack? Thanks!

Apple's leather sleeve is way overpriced and after seeing the video above, I would suggest people avoid this case.

A much better value is the Harber London Slim Macbook Pro Leather Sleeve for approx $75.00 plus they will give you 10% off your first order. It's also lined with dense 100% Wool Felt in Spain.

Just got the Harber London Slim Macbook Pro Leather Sleeve and its lovely. Really nice soft leather and its a nice tight fit on the 15" MBP. No idea how much it will "loosen" up with regards to the fit but its very nice. Not going to protect your laptop from any serious abuse or damage but it will protect it from scratches and it looks beautiful.

My Woolnut leather sleeve just arrived! It’s got a very nice natural leather exterior with a wool interior that holds the 15” MacBook Pro snug. 99 dollars from B&H. It’s also nice to put the MacBook Pro on top of when I’m using it, provides a nice cushion whilst typing. Also, it allows you to charge the computer whilst it’s fully in the sleeve, (unlike Apple’s). I’ll post some photos too.

Hey guys I have a 2017 MacBook Pro and I'm considering to purchase a hard case for it. I was wondering if it DAMAGES the hinges on the laptop... that would really be an inconvenience. I was thinking of getting a moss hard case form amazon

I've always ended up with Incase sleeves for my MacBooks, same thing happened again. I ordered the Incase Compact Sleeve in Reflective Mesh from Apple Store here in Norway with my MBP 15" 2018.

It does add some bulk, but from experience they are well padded all around and got a nice plush feel on the inside, plus I like the different styling, not just boring plain black as I usually have got before.

Currently trying to decide what case to get for my 2018 13” that arrives on Tuesday. I do want the Apple leather sleeve but I think £180 is a little too steep. Tempted by the Harber London alternative at the moment!

I did get a blue leather sleeve for my 15" tMBP. I'll try to take some photos and post later today.
[doublepost=1486583343][/doublepost]I'm not a photographer, so 'different lighting conditions' elude me. However, this is a very nice sleeve. My only complaint is the tight fit, which has gotten significantly better during the time I've owned mine. I've had sleeves from InCase and all the standard manufacturers as well as Toffee, Beyza, and other high-end manufacturers. The Harber London sleeve is well worth the money, in my view.

Found these pics of the Harber sleeve from earlier in the thread for those asking earlier.

My WaterField Outback Solo Laptop bag arrived. These people make some of the nicest cases for our electronics! The Outback Solo is perfect and has a front pouch that will hold your charger, dock, cables and more, while the interior pocket is lined in soft neoprene to protect your baby. There is an additional pocket in the back that also will hold my papers or your iPad Pro 10.5. The exterior is waxed canvas with a leather flap that locks in place with a very strong magnet!
