How has people's experience been with Waterfield? I am super interested in the Outback Duo they have on their site.

I just got my first Waterfield bag (Hitch Crossbody) earlier this week so I can’t really speak for long term ... but my first impressions are wow. I wish I had purchased a premium bag years ago, this thing is awesome. It’s really well made, waxed canvas is nice (its a bit darker in person than on the website). The interior color is nice, makes it easy to see what’s inside. Customer service emails about order status have been nice (i didn’t reach out to them). They are a little backed up so I think it’s taking like a week for them to ship your order.

i liked the bag so much that the next day I ordered a gear pouch and a wallet from them.

Compared to the current 5-week wait for iPad Pro's, a week sounds good to me. lol! ☹

Waterfield do not distribute outside the US/Ca area either, AFAIR, so that limits them for Euro (and other non-NA) buyers. Unless you pay extortionate duties on top.

Wow! I had no idea about the iPad Pro delay ... that is wild.

Yeah the one week wait isn't bad ... was just letting them know.

Could anybody suggest good sleeve for 16" MBP? I've just bought Tucano Elements supposedly for 16", but it's extremely tight and now I noticed that on the inside it says 15". So they just swapped packaging and sold me 15" sleeve for 16" MBP. The zippers are so tight I am more than certain MacBook will eventually get damaged.

I’ve been pretty happy with this brand. It’s well made and fits perfectly. As I and a few others have said, it could maybe use a touch more padding, but it still provides adequate protection against scratches and scuffs. If you have a padded bag with a slot for a laptop you’ll be fine.

I got the version without a pocket, so the pocketed version might be a bit more protective.

Thanks for the tip. In the end I got this puppy: https://www.thule.com/en-us/laptop-...hule-gauntlet-macbook-pro-sleeve-16-_-3204523 and I must say I'm very impressed. It's very sturdy and MacBook fits perfectly. There's enough space for me not to worry about zipper scratching MacBook. If only all manufacturers took 16" seriously and not rebranded their 15" offerings..

I have the Native Union one and really like it.

Hey all!

Any suggestions on hardshell cases for the 2020 13" MBP?

I can purchase the Incase shell from last year's model but worried about it fitting the 2020 version.

It‘s a shame the Incase shell doesn’t fit the 2020 MBP. Have you found an alternative?

It seems they may have got a load of stock in as the delivery times are for tomorrow/next week (United Kingdom)

Mine has just shipped, arriving on the 10th.

Edit: fits great, really pleased with it.

This looks good, especially considering the low price -
but isn't that "lip" that goes to the middle of the touchpad a bit in the way?

I never have problem with the trackpad so far and the lip is designed to lock with the macbook chin so that it does not slide to the bottom and sideways.

I've been using the SwitchEasy hardshell case in matte black translucent.
It fits great and compliment the MacBook Pro 16 aesthetic.

Can anyone recommend a good messenger-style bag for a 13" MBP and an 11" iPad Pro? I tried the Thule Subterra MacBook Attache 13" and loved the way it was set up but my iPad didn't fit in the pocket with the Magic Keyboard attached. I really don't want a bag designed for a 15".

SF Bags got you covered, choose the compact size for the 13" MacBook Pro and 11" iPad Pro with Magic Keyboard on the tablet pocket:
