I know this is for Macbook Pro's but if anyone knows a good case, screen protector, and keyboard cover for the new M1 Macbook Air, would really appreciate it.
Id skip the screen protector. Some say it damages the Retina display? Just do some research for yourself on that before pulling the trigger.

To me altogether, a screen protector is not worth the risk of any damage and is unnecessary.

Any cheaper alternatives to Apple's leather sleeve for 13" MacBook?

I have both and are really good quality, had the harber one for a few years now and its still in great condition, the Woolnut one I received today and is very good as well.

well for me I have several different things based on my needs. Right now I have a backpack type tote bag. In the past a laptop bag was great. At other times a sleeve was enough. So for me it just depended on what I needed. I also have a laptop snap on case just from Amazon bc my 12” I’m taking around often and don’t want it to get dented during transport

I have a waterfiield design/San Francisco Bag co sleeve. It’s a waxed canvas and leather bottom. Really high quality and paid $65 I believe...was a couple years ago. Holds up well. Repels rain as well.

I have been using various hard shell cases for at least 10 years now. At first I would buy the high end ones like Speck and Incase, but they always started cracking around the port openings and hinges after the warranty was up (one year). Then I decided that I wasn‘t going to waste $50 on a case that lasted maybe a year, so I started buying the Kuzy cases on Amazon for $25. Well, those didn’t last any longer than the name brand ones, so I stared buying the $15 ones from various Chinese sellers on Amazon. No matter the price point, one year seems to be their lifespan. I’m not rough with my computers, and they hardly leave the house, but the cases just start to fall apart.

Really, I’m just looking for scratch protection. Back in the day we used to buy fun vinyl decals from Macstyles, but they went out of business years ago. Plus I think I want something a little more substantial than a piece of vinyl. I started to look for a silicon-molded case, but I’m not finding much. Does anyone make a soft silicone case for the MacBook Pro?

Has anyone ever used the silicone keyboard protectors or palm rest protectors for macbooks? Curious how annoying they are.

I'll probably be spending $2800+ on a new 16" and want it to last a long time. The palm areas of my old 2011 really wore away over time.

Have been on work machines for a long time now and obviously don't really worry about those as much.

Honestly, just use the device. I have found no enjoyment from protectors of any kind

I wonder if these new redesigned macbooks will fit in current sleeves specifically the 16" or there will be new ones.

My guess is that it will fit, it's like with the 16" and 15" the 16" did fit in the 15" case / sleeves.
Same for 14" is my guess it will fit in the 13" case / sleeves
