SF Bags got you covered, choose the compact size for the 13" MacBook Pro and 11" iPad Pro with Magic Keyboard on the tablet pocket:

Hmmm, looks nice but it's hella spendy ?

Can anyone recommend a sleeve like the Radtech ones? Here's a link to the Radtech:

i used to buy be able to get these from a supplier in the UK, but now it seems that these are only available in the US. I have this sleeve for my old PowerBook 12" and MBA 11". I'd like something similar for a future MPB 13".

Thanks.

Picked up this bag for my 2015 MBP 15" and it fits great! Highly recommend for all corner protection. Yes, it says 16" but my understanding is that the old 2015 MBP and new 16" are basically the same size (with the 16" having a larger screen obviously).

Here you go:

Does it come off easily? Does your MBP get hot with it on? I'm really interested in this one as I want to have some protection for my MBP 16" when I'm out and about, however at home I want to be able to take the case off.

Yes it does come off easily, just be careful with the small clips though.
I've been using similar style case, made by Moshi, since 2012 with my MacBook Pro 15, it doesn't affect the CPU temperature whatsoever, but I don't regularly do really heavy stuff like hours of rendering.

Regarding your 2nd point, I think it would be better for you to get a different type of case, for example, the BookBook from Twelve South. I have this case for my 2017 MacBook Pro 15.

Yeah it's pricey but it doubles up as a sleeve/cover, and it is much faster to take off.

I finally took the plunge & bought the Incase Woolenex case for my 16’’. I had the Dot Incase cover first. I am going to put this out there... There is absolutely nothing wrong with the Woolenex case, nothing!

No sagging at any point, lovely fit & glad I now have it as the grip is fantastic.
Maybe they changed the design! A complete contradiction to the previous online reviews.

They have a special offer on at the moment, graphite case out of stock but keep checking regularly.
I now have a back up case ?

I order a Tomtoc for my MPB Pro 13" today. Laptop should arrive next week, sleeve tomorrow.

Any suggestions for a messenger-style bag which is quite minimal, not too expensive, but will take a 16" MacBook Pro?

I have an Incase Icon backpack which I love for when I need to carry the laptop and other bits & pieces or am travelling, but I quite like a messenger bag for when I'm just going to the office.

I've not gotten on well with the Tomtoc zip case I bought from Amazon for the MBP, so I've arrange a return and picked up a Bellroy sleeve:

It arrived today and feels pretty good quality, slimmer compared to the Tomtoc, but more expensive too.

I fired off a few emails to Incase recently asking why there are still no ICON sleeves available almost a year after the machine has been available yet they keep making new products for the old 15" and all new 13". Their response is below:

"Hello,

Thank you for contacting Incase Support. We base our release on sales of our lines. Currently the old Macbook 15" products are out selling the 16" products. As are all of our 13" lines. With this in mind we have to release products based on where we find the most value for our investment. While more products may come out for the 16" in the future we have to see a merit in releasing these products. Sadly, we just have not seen this yet. However, I will gladly pass your interest along to our product design team. Please let me know if you have further questions."

Next level stuff people. Wouldn't hold your breath on these guys getting it together anytime soon. Too bad as the ICON sleeve will always be my favorite way to travel with my MBP.

The great state of Texas
.I've been through a bunch of cases. Man what a struggle to find a case that meets your needs.
Well I just got a new MBP13. Picked up a few cases on Amazon and hated each on for either Fit or the Cheap Look.
Finally I found this guy, Andar Case. Its kinda expensive but when you compare a 2K device 100 bucks isn't that much.
This case fits absolutely Perfect, grill slots, minimal clips and most of all the leather is so nice. I absolutely Love this case.

Just got this in the mail today. Beautiful koa wood case from GlittyCo on Etsy. The original surfboards were made in Hawaii from koa wood and I feel like this MBP 16" is almost big enough to surf on. This was a custom order, as they usually do not carry this kind of wood, but Melissa at GlittyCo was more than accommodating and helpful in crafting this wonderful piece. Even arrived before the estimated date. Love love love this.

On Earth!
I'm looking for a slim sleeve for my (coming soon) MBPro 16".

I've seen the Native Union one and cushcase. The cushcase looks a bit thick for my liking. Would like slim as possible as its most likely only going to be stored in a padded backpack.

Also any suggestions for full coverage skins would be helpful. I have looked at dBrand they don't do side coverage.

TIA

Any Thule Fans Here.
Been using Thule Gauntlets for my last 3 MBP.
My newest one for the 16 came in. While the prior one fit, supposedly the newest one -is listed- to fit the 16".
It is a hair bigger overall.

However, the newest Gauntlet is thinner than all my previous Gauntlet Sleeves. I like them due to the clamshell design that I can use it on the fly.

However, I don't know if I'm giving up -cushion/protection- with the case being thinner

I know this is for Macbook Pro's but if anyone knows a good case, screen protector, and keyboard cover for the new M1 Macbook Air, would really appreciate it.
