shall I be worried about tomtoc case?

Customer image
I have the same exact tomtoc case but in black and I don't have that issue on my space grey MBP 16. Could it be based on the pressure that is being applied with the case and mbp? I haven't applied pressure so that the bubbles can press on the MBP

My new transparent keyboard cover arrived from Amazon today. It perfectly fits the new 2021 MPBs. As with any keyboard cover there is that initial learning curve, but this one is very thin and doesn't slide around or stick to my fingers. I was using a Moshi one on my old 2013 MBP, and this is significantly thinner than that.

my wife used a dust cover for her mbp. I hated it. until that night I was drinking wine and spilled it on her keyboard! I felt so terrible

anyone knows when Dbrand skins are shipping? do they have a clear matte option? or any other brand have ha clear skin?

also anyone found a privacy filter for 14" yet?"

Anyone worry a lot about any kind of keyboard cover? My 2019 16" work machine fits SO closely that I can see the key imprints on the LCD screen when I open it. I can't imagine adding a few more milimeters of rubber.

I bought this for 16” Max. Fits great!

Seems only a small handful of suppliers got advance dimensions, so think we're gonna have to wait a few months for case makers to release their hardshells.
Haha I guess Apple was nervous about letting people know in advance about how much meatier the new MBP is :D

Any photos? I accidentally bought the small size and found out that it doesn't fit :(
Here you go. It's ever so slightly looser compared to the 13 inch size or the one I had for an old 2018/2019 15 inch but I like this style. NO ZIPPERS!

Thank you very much for posting photos!
Looks great…
Enjoy!

I am returning my Waterfield Sutter Slim Backpack for the Waterfield Mezzo Laptop Backpack for a little extra room for other accessories that I carry — headphones, tech pouch, A5 daily planner, A5 notebook.

The Sutter was perfect for for a more minimalistic EDC, but I usually carry a little more than I thought I would.

What about a duffel bag? Laptop up to 16" zipper at the bottom.

Anyone ever tried, a case-skin?
Any experience? Does it offer the basic protection from scratches? Anything else?
Something like this
caseskin.jpg

My wonder is about the adhesive material. If I ever want to pull it out, will mbp be untouched, or will it have stains of glue on it?

I have not seen any know brands with such case-skins.
But on ebay some options like these make their appearances, now that I am looking for the new mbp.

I spent a good chunk of time researching the various sleeve-type case options on Amazon, mostly running searches for sleeves with documented inner dimensions matching the dimensions of the 14" MBP. Based on that, I purchased this sleeve case:

Interior Dimensions: 12.6" x 9.1" x 0.6"
MacBook Pro 14" Dimensions: 12.31" x 8.71" x 0.61"

I'm not sure why it's marketed for the older style 13" MBP, as it seems it would be pretty large/not very snug. It fits the 14" pretty much perfectly. Very soft interior. Well made. Highly recommend, very happy with this purchase.

Photos make it look a little bigger than expected.
The 12.5-13inch fits better than the 14 inch varient?

Nice sleeve! (And nice CTRL as well! what switches are you running?)

My 16” MacBook pro is coming today, I had to pull out the wallet and get some sort of protection.

I was on the fence with a sleeve or bag. I used to own a in case sleeve for my older 15” MacBook Pro.

But I am kinda scared sleeves with zips will scratch my brand new toy. I went with the WaterField Outback Solo Case.

Hopefully it will last, as it’s just as pricey as the MacBook Pro.
