Gugule...

Two points
1) it is a big file so can’t be emailed

2) you know if you live in china you must buy a Vpn. Everyone who is anyone has a vpn in china. And if you dont have one ask your friends they do.
Thanks for your reply. penguinqq shares the tool for me. I don't need VPN for the moment. But I will find another way to share the file from outside China.
[doublepost=1540961290][/doublepost]Strange thing! I can download the old versions of the tool from dosdude1's website, including 1.2.2
So, dosdude1, can you just add the latest version of the tool to the list?

[doublepost=1540961956][/doublepost]dosdude1,

I remade the USB installer using the new Mojave Patcher from this morning and the 10.14.1 full download from today but although it now successfully gets to the installer screen, after selecting the destination SSD it sits endlessly at About 29 minutes remaining with no progress at all on the bar.
This is a MP3,1 with APFS and NVMe boot rom patches. I'll wait another 30 minutes to see if it starts but it looks to me like there are still problems!

Seems like I am experiencing same issue. The patcher (v 1.2.2) completes the USB installer. However, when booting from USB (known good USB), the progress bar jumps to about 75% and stalls. USB activity at that point seems to be zero. Trying to make another USB using macOS 10.14.1 downloaded through the patcher instead of through the "App Store".
EDIT: Still no joy. Looks like patcher still needs work.

It might require patience; after 30 minutes with no progress at all, it kicked off slowly and has now progressed to about 1/4 of the bar and 26 minutes remaining. It's definitely a slower install than 10.14 with the 1.2.2 Mojave Patcher. Not sure whether to be hopeful or not at this stage!

The patcher has been updated to v1.2.3, which fixes that issue.

Thanks Dosdude, I'll give it a try! Thank you again.

EDIT: Yep, working now. Although as others have pointed out, the installation seems to progress much more slowly than before (which could simply be how macOS 10.14.1 installs).

Updated from 10.14.0 to 10.14.1 by creating USB with 1.2.3 and successfully updated my MacBookAir4,1

Many thanks for the update!!~:):)
Did it seem much slower than previously? This time is glacial although the install is to NVMe storage using NVMe boot rom patch, so would have expected a little more speed.
Now at 13 minutes.

Here's an interesting incompatibility with my Mac Mini 3,1. Under Mojave 10.14 bluetooth works fine so far, except with bluetooth audio. Audio devices pair fine and connect but then after 20 seconds, the unit disconnects without audio ever being switched to the bluetooth audio channel. I have tried deleting the com.apple.Bluetooth.plist, deleting and then re-pairing the audio devices, re-installing the legacy audio patch and using the bluetooth debug menu to reset the bluetooth module. Bluetooth keyboard and mouse work fine. Devices attempted so far without success are Bose Quietcomfort 35 and Sony SRS-BTX500. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Hooroo

cannot compare, last time i hook up a T5 just for that, this time use a slow samsung usb flash

just want to mention, if you see the machine shut down when you finished your coffee, just turn it back on and do the post patch part and everything would be fine

It got there in the end using 1.2.3 Mojave Patcher from today and full Mojave download using Mojave Patcher Tools menu for USB install on MP3,1 with APFS and NVMe boot rom patches.
The install seemed a lot slower than previous times but was ultimately successful.
Thanks dosdude!

Mac Mini Late 2009 (3,1) - Samsung SSD, APFS
Running Mojave 10.14

After creating a New Patch Tool, v1.2.3, from earlier this evening,
I began Update from within System Preferences/Software Update
After normal download and installation, Mac mini was caught in a boot-up loop, where it never fully finished the boot-up to login screen.

While Mac mini was still going through boot-up loop, I attached the newly created Patch Tool, v1.2.3,
and held down option key, where I was then able to select Patch Tool and apply post-Install patches

Which immediately, Successfully upgraded to Mojave 10.14.1
Thank You @dosdude1

I have an iMac 10,1. Ran Mojave 10.14.0 with @dosdude1’s patcher with great success. Now, trying to update this iMac to 10.14.1 with a USB installer + @dosdude1’s patcher 1.2.3, and things are going haywire. The installation of the update doesn’t appear to complete; stops somewhere around 10 or 11 minutes, then immediately reboots. When that happens, it gets stuck in a reboot loop, and eventually ends up with the “No” symbol when trying to boot from the primary HD. I’ve tried the installation twice, and applied the post-install patch both times. Doesn’t seem to make a difference. Any ideas?

Hello guys.
Do I need to install the whole mac os mojave from scratch everytime there is an update like this (10.14.1)?
Should I wait for the Patch Updater tool to find 10.14.1 and not use the Software Update utility of the mac?
My system already uses apfs.

And one last question.
Should I untick Software Update -> Advanced -> Install system data files and security updates ?

I had the same problem with no clean install.
After my old ssd (ocz) died and replaced with a samsung ssd I did a clean install and the problem disappeared (I have a macbook pro 17 inch - mid 2010).

I can confirm exactly the same situation with my Mac Pro 3.1 here. "29 minutes" for the last 60 minutes ...

Oh, edit: There's a little progress in the bar now, but still "29 minutes".
