So it seems you have a APFS formatted HD/SSD and your update function works.
With the HFS-Extended Journaled HD the OTA is not working, what I knew.
I'm not in a hurry, but I would like to know when it will be possible to update via the dosdude installer.
Patience.
All systems are working well.;)

Yay! I figured so. The only question I have regarding that is why would everything work fine, and look fine, when I am installing the OS, but I see the issue only when it gets to the Apple logo/status bar?

I think Im going to go with this card here if it is failing:

Cause graphic requirements for the installation are lower. Believe me. Seen many times.

Just installed on my GPU-Dead MacbookPro 2011, so far works well, smooth and fast as high sierra.
The only problem is sleep/reboot/shutdown/logout ends into black screen with mouse cursor. The solution is to keep power button pressed and start again. Anyone has this problem?

Reset SMC/NVRAM seem to work for me. Now everything is fine.

And, of course, thanks for everyone involved in this project.
Also works like a charm in my Macbbok 17 2011 dedicated GPU disabled. I only miss an AC wifi module.

Same here, it’s stuck on the Apple logo, but that’s been that way for every patched Mojave USB that I’ve created. I installed Mojave using CCC and another Mac on my MM3,1

I'm using a PC amd 5870 gpu so i don't even get to see the Apple logo, but before his 1.3.3 changes it used to make it to the installer setup but now its broken. I've tried a pc amd 7970 as well and no cigar.

I did an OTA update on a Macbook Air 4,1. After install & patch completion I booted and the Patch Updater loaded for the System Update and Legacy Video Card Patch. Is this one different than the one from the latest DosDude patcher?

The Legacy Video Card Patch just seemed to hang part way through .Gave up after 10 min.

I'm going to try OTA and then run @dosdude1's Mojave Patcher 1.3.3. So the latest @pkouame Hybrid patches work as well? If it does, can you tell me the latest version for the patches please? Thanks.

Got it working on my MacBook Air 3,1. Had to patch twice, guess something didn't take the first time, and had to get out a USB keyboard/mouse when my trackpad and keyboard decided not to work. Everything seems fine now, though.

Nothing has changed with that regard... An EFI flashed or Apple official video card is required in order to see the installer and boot menu.

Anybody with a MBP4,1 (Intel Core 2 Duo + GeForce 8600M GT) formatted as APFS installed the 10.14.6 update?

If so any issues?

Do I need to download a newer macOS Mojave Patcher ???

... AND 10.14.6 macOS install ???

Early 2008 MacBook Pro 4,1
2.6 Ghz C2D
6GB RAM
512 MB GeForce 8600M GT
512 GB Samsung 840 PRO SSD
MacOS 10.14.5 (thanks to DosDude1's AMAZING macOS Mojave Patcher)

Savvy End User but NOT Command Line savvy

So how do I update...? OTA then rerun dosdude patcher from the USB stick...?
Dont stick the USB before the OTA. After the OTA is completed you get a screen with the non-bootable logo.
You stick the USB on which you have Dosdude's patcher, boot on it, post-patch with force rebuild and boot to your original hard disk (under APFS) and its done.......

Updated my MacBook5,1 to 10.14.6 Final via OTA and then did the manual patching. The system did not boot at first but I kept my cool and the system restarted itself for the second time and successfully landed at the login screen.

Anyone else having issues with Mojave auto-updating even when the updates are turned off…?
I've been having several issues with this: webcam stops working, stop sign on boot, not booting at all… It gets fixed by running the patcher again - either on USB or inside the systems depends if I can boot or not - but it seems odd that the system is running ok and suddenly crashes.
As a matter of fact this has been happening in the last month or so - no issues at all before that…
Even my 2015 iMac - fully Mojave supported - crashed today and I realised it went from 10.14.5 to 10.14.6.

Hi everyone,

Using the Mojave patcher tool on a mac supported by the Mojave patcher tool ( MB 6,1 ) I've managed to get Mojave onto an early 2008 MB ( 4.1 MB) via a disk clone and using El Capitan beta kexts. Works quite well apart from iSight and Bluetooth. Has anyone else tried to get an early 2008 MB ( 4.1 ) running Mojave and if so any success with iSight / Bluetooth? The iSight camera works on Yosemite but I think it's already broken on El Capitan. The macbook 4.1 is pretty similar to a 4.1 MBP ( same processor ) so seems a shame not to be able to sort the iSight and Bluetooth stuff out. IoReg Explorer can see the camera but the OS can't. Not too fussed about bluetooth but iSight would be nice. Any help much appreciated!

Thanks.

Cheers

S
