Mojave 10.14.6 works wey well with Macmini4.1. I have installed and repatched it over 10.14.5 using patcher 1.3.3 (not using Apple internal updater) and it has keep all apps previously installed.

Can't get 10.14.6 to boot after install with Patcher 1.3.3.

Trying to upgrade a MacBook 5,1 from 10.14.5 to 10.14.6. Still using HFS+ so, used the latest version of Patcher to download and install 10.14.6. After install, rebooted to Patcher USB stick, applied post-install patches and booted to hard drive. The boot process very slowly progressed until the progress bar was full but hanged there. So, rebooted to Patcher USB stick, re-applied recommended patches, forced cache rebuild and rebooted again. But, the MacBook still hangs on the progress bar when booting. I'm starting to get worried that I'll have to do a clean install. Is that the only option ?

Thank you for your comment.
I am using MBP 5,5, so I am happy to hear that there is no issue.
Did you do this process?: 1) update, 2) post-install patch, 3) cache rebuild

My friend figyu!!I applied APFS Rom patch of the GREAT DOSDUDE1 some weeks ago after a lot of hesitation!! luckily it worked for me!!Now all the betas were implemented with 1.3.2 patcher! It always worked!Latest update was OTA from sysprefs. After the system updated itself on the second restart boot into the usb patched HDD with 14.5 Mojave post install patches, choosin model 5,5 and my internal ssd Mojave click patch and then force rebuild!!!After restarted you most likely have to reinstall all the overwritten patches!!! I myself did the re-install of Siri and the Legacy sound patch..so Siri now hears me.All Good!! Good Luck!!

Just tried again with patcher 1.3.3 on a MP4,1 with PC AMD 7970 and NO DISPLAY SCREENS ! I know this usb stick boots, i patched a macbookpro8,1 with it.
I'll try it again today this time with a PC AMD 5870 to see if i get display for the installer.

It used to work with generic pc cards on 1.3.2 but some amd kexts must have been removed. Why ?!?

As stated on the first page of this thread AMD cards do have issues have you don't the post install patches you have to apply them every time we update the macOS as we are unsupported and Apple does remove them as we update did you apply the metal driver patch for amd from the patch updater

Do you know what version of the installer is for 10.14.5?
At least it worked! 10.14.6 installed.
So I canceled the torrent download of 10.14.5.
At the third time, don't know why, I did three times the same procedure.
iMac late 2009, 27", MBP mid 2009, HFS-Extended journaled.
Thanks for your support.;)

Successfully upgrade 10.14.6

if you can get into the terminal run this script
Boot from the USB created with the patcher. It´s the same.
I can't boot at all so I am not able to get to Terminal. Also can't boot from USB created with patcher (freezes on mid of progress bar).

May it all be because I used old version of dosdude's patches (think it was created for 10.14.1) on a newer version (10.14.5)?

did you try resetting the pram command-option P and R while booting

Did soeone have tested Mac OS 10.4.6 on MBP 4.1? I'm using Mac OS 14.5 and that one is stable as a release for supported machines, 14.6 runs like the previous release?

VLC 2.2.8 exhibits display aspect ratio issue when certain menu is selected - video will stretched vertically.

Anyone else seeing this...?

What do you mean?? I can't even get to the installer anymore when booting off the usb stick. I'm telling you since patcher 1.3.3 amd kexts have been messed around and now there's no display on MP4,1 and 5,1. Tested it again last night. I'm going to try 1.3.2 today with 10.14.6 and maybe i'll see it boot into something ..
