did you try resetting the pram command-option P and R while booting
Yes, I have reseted PRAM.
Are these the correct settings when formatting USB drive?

EDIT
GREAT SUCCESS! I managed to start with USB after creating the new one based on 10.14.6 today!
Thanks guys for any help.

BTW Should I Install MojaveRecoveryFix.sh to get Recovery Partition or is it automatically done via dosdude's tool?
Also, is it possible to hide verbose startup ?

At least it worked! 10.14.6 installed.
So I canceled the torrent download of 10.14.5.
At the third time, don't know why, I did three times the same procedure.
iMac late 2009, 27", MBP mid 2009, HFS-Extended journaled.
Thanks for your support.;)

What do you mean?? I can't even get to the installer anymore when booting off the usb stick. I'm telling you since patcher 1.3.3 amd kexts have been messed around and now there's no display on MP4,1 and 5,1. Tested it again last night. I'm going to try 1.3.2 today with 10.14.6 and maybe i'll see it boot into something ..
Do you get a boot screen with your video card? No boot screen = no installer visible.

sudo nvram boot-args= will turn off verbose mode to check to see if you need to install the recovery fix while booting hold command R

A bit of a late reply but maybe my recent experience will be helpful. I connected an old Brother printer to my MacBook5,1(Mojave 10.14.6 Beta 4) via USB and almost instantly got a message if I would like to download drivers. Nice and easy plug and play.

Thank you for your concern. what's your printer brand(if you may)? mine is old inkjet HP, probably 10 years old(maybe no drivers for it?), and when I connect it, it does not promote any option to download driver... but I remember it did that on Sierra OS, back when I connected it.

I am using currently 10.14.5, if I updated to 10.14.6 would it make a difference?
[doublepost=1564073609][/doublepost]is it safe to update to 10.14.6? on MacBook Pro 13" late 2011?
-I mean as I see that some are getting problems.

My laser printer is quite old as well(they don't make them anymore):

10.14.5 or 10.14.6 should not make any difference in my opinion. It was definitely safe to update my MacBook5,1 to 10.14.6. I don't even have a Mojave patcher anymore.

Why did you change the way that works?!? In the past your tool worked perfectly for no boot screen gpus. Why the sudden change, that's what made the tool very convenient for most.

I didn't change anything.... EFI flashed video cards have always been required.

Did anyone had succes with a Macpro 3,1 and an RX480?
I have installed Mojave with an HD5770 as a boot card, but the driver for the RX480 just doesn´t load, although I applied SSE patch.
Any hints?

Not true kexts are missing now i never had to use one until probably since 1.3.1. I skipped 1.3.2 but It's basically the whole reason i used your patcher. You know how when Finder loads and suddenly graphics show up on a non-efi card? That's what your patcher used to do once it loaded the proper kexts, then the installer would show up. But not anymore.

Can you un-do your
1.3.1 - 4/29/2019

• Added new fixes for non-Metal video cards.

Did you try reinstalling over 10.14.6 sometimes that works then apple the post install patches

Thanks for this. I've done a reinstall over 10.14.6, ran the post-install patches and forced cache rebuild. But the MacBook stills hangs with the progress bar at 100% on the white/grey screen. The boot process doesn't get to the black Mojave boot progress screen. If I do a clean install, should I switch from HFS+ to APFS ?

you cold also PM Julian to add you to his link to 10.14.3 if you have to do a clean install

What is Julian's "10.14.3" ?

Did soeone have tested Mac OS 10.4.6 on MBP 4.1? I'm using Mac OS 14.5 and that one is stable as a release for supported machines, 14.6 runs like the previous release?

I upgraded my 17" Early 2008 MBP4,1 from 10.15.5 and it went smoothly... Just had to run the Post Install patches as usual.

its a link to download macOS Mojave 10.14.3 dmg did you try resetting the PRAM command-option P and R then reboot ing the patcher what version of the Mojave patcher are you using 1.3.3 is the current version

Do you have proof dosdude removed those kexts apple may have removed them on a MacBook 4,1 its missing features like graphic acceleration its like running in safe mode but much slower I have read some who closed the lid and the MacBook 4,1 don't wake up from sleep so it is missing power management features. Mojave also is required to be APFS so you have to apply the APFS Boor tom patch if not applied correctly or if you MacBook goes to sleep can cause you system to be bricked without seeing a screenshot or install logs or crash logs its hard to tell. it could be possible your gpu failed

I'm using v1.3.3 of the patcher which I used to DL 10.14.6. Tried resetting PRAM and lots of things before finding a solution which was to rename the mbr_cache file inside var/db/caches/opendirectory. The MacBook booted and all is well. Many thanks for staying in touch.

Cheers.

Looks like a clean install of 10.14.6 also has the intel HD arrandale graphics safari lag (mouse slows down when hovering over links). Seems like no one figure it out since it've been going unanswered for a couple months now

My proof is it used to work on the older patcher versions and now it doesn't. I don't know if the change was deliberate or not but its not working the same way as it once used to. I'd be able to pop in any pc amd 5770 or 5870 or 7970 generic card and the installer screen would eventually show up after a minute or two. I am going to test the older patcher versions and find the version that does it. I'm totally shocked i'm the only one that noticed this.

I'm already testing 1.3.2 with a pc 5770 and working my way down to find the version that did it.

My mistake it's the High Sierra patcher that shows the installer with pc amd cards. Oops!
I should just flash it you're right.
Is it feasible if you implemented the patched 5000/6000 series cards Into the actual usb installer stick for non-efi displaying the installer ?
