Unfortunately, after spending an entire day working on this, I cannot manage to get Library Validation to be disabled upon first boot of a clean install of 10.15.4. Because of this, the latest Catalina Patcher release (1.3.4) has been reverted back to 10.15.3 support only, and will only download 10.15.3 from Apple. No later versions. I really apologize about this, but despite my best efforts, I could not get this working.

With that said, there is nothing wrong with staying on 10.15.3 for the time being. I would recommend all users running Catalina on a machine with a non-Metal video card to stay on 10.15.3.

An update will be release later if this library validation issue gets figured out, but that may not happen too soon.

Thanks for trying. I hope you get this and this isn’t the end of the line for my old 8,1 machine. Not really up on the video card or GPU complexities, but I’m pretty sure my machine is not one that has been challenging.

I feel so stupid.
I thought the "macOS Catalina Patcher" was updated to 1.3.1 after receiving the update notification via Patch Updater. But I woke up this morning and found it was still on 1.3.0.
I have a metal supported card so this must be the reason why I wasn't able to proceed.
Do you still have a link to the 1.3.1? It's not in your old versions section.

Am I missing something? When I go to the website and download the tool, I get 1.3.0. Where can I get 1.3.4? I want to upgrade to 10.15.3 from 10.15.2.
I guess so.
See the screenshots attached.
I just used 1.3.4 to get from 10.15.2 to 10.15.3
Please, if you have a 1.3.1 installer share it. I am in the mood for playing around.
Cheers,

You are not listening. I want to attempt another 10.15.4 and I need the 1.3.1 installer because my issues was different. i don't need the legacy video patch as I use a modded Quadro card which support Metal.

You did not read what I wrote he doesn’t have it uploaded in the archives as I checked as 1.3.2 and 1.3.3 are not there either
That's right. 1.3.1, 1.3.2 and 1.3.3 still have the AMFI issue that's why he pulled these releases.

Everyone of his patchers have the legacy video patches all you have to do is uncheck macOS 10.15.3 is the one that doesn't have the AMFI issues thus patcher 1.3.0 supports that version of Catalina

Hi. Last evening, the Patch Updater from my daughter's iMac (8,1 with Radeon HD2400XT, working with macOS 10.15.3) asked to installa a Night Shift Patch to add support for Catalina 10.15.4, but after rebooting, the iMac seems unable to find a bootable disk/partition. It stops asking for a boot folder. I tried to boot the computer with an external USB disk (with Catalina too), but for what I can see, all seem ok: terrible slow but I can see internal disk as bootable. Now I'm trying to build another USB installer with latest patcher tool (1.3.4, but with macOS 10.15.3 because I need to much time to download entry Catalina installer now). Hope I can solve with the reinstallation of all patches (I need to make the iMac operating as soon as possible). Any other ideas?
P.S. I didn't update to 10.15.4... I accepted only to update/install the proposed patch to prepare the iMac for future macOS update. Previously the iMac worked like a charm, with Catalina on Crucial MX500 SSD.

I have a similar problem on my iMac 9.1 for a long time. Reinstalling 10.15.3 helps. After that, never install night shift patch. See my message #9.027 for more details.

OK, thanks for your suggestion. I'll try to reinstall 10.15.3 (if updating patches isn't enough). It's an odd moment to have computer not working, because my child need them for online school, any other update will be postponed to the end of COVID-19 emergency.

I have a mid 2009 iMac 9,1 and before this 10.15.4 nightmare Night Shift was working fine on my iMac it usually resides at the bottom of all the other patches in your patch updater but I think it has been removed as it is no longer there
