you do the following steps in Terminal:
sudo mkdir -p /usr/local/opt/openjpeg/lib/
mv libopenjp2.7.dylib /usr/local/opt/openjpeg/lib/
Creation of the opt/openjpeg/lib/ worked but Shop still not working because the libopenjp2.7 necessary as you see in the error log here included is not the same than the one available in the send space download which is libopenjp2.2.7.
There is a 2 difference !!!!!!!!!

Question.. When I install Catalina from the DD Patcher, if I have Catalina set as the boot volume and I press CMD-R to get into recovery mode, it never works. I have to have Mojave set as the boot volume and the CMD-R works.

Any idea why?
It may be that you have no recovery partition created for Catalina. You may want to check that.

Hello! I have Catalina 10.15.2 installed on an iMac8,1 and everything works well except that I cannot update to 10.15.6 or 10.15.7. I have downloaded the latest dosdude patch utility and downloaded the latest catalina directly and also tried copying direct download from apple from another mac. The process to make USB bootable install goes through normally but when everything reboots after reinstalling fresh copy and applying patches, it is still 10.15.2. Help please. Thank you!

I use dosdudes process. Is his site updated to support the security patch? I assume I just need to “download MacOS” and the latest will have the supplement built into it? Sorry if this is already answered somewhere back in this long thread.

It will likely work once the full installer is available. No confirmation of that yet.

For those who used CatalinaOTAswufix (it requires "csrutil disable") during the OTA update downloading, you should relaunch the app and apply the "OTA update fix", if you already did that and still reboot to previous Catalina version, then means you are using a non-APFS Mac, so you should use USBOpenCoreAPFSloader3 to continue the hidden stage2 "macOS Installer", then after update completes reapply dosdude1 post install patches, you can even continue booting through USBopencore .
Works as advertised. Thank you!

How do I do that? I have no idea how to look and see if there is a HS, Mojave, or Catalina Recovery drive/partition? How do I check and how do I tell the difference?

The patched USB installer is your recovery drive.
Catalina doesn't have a working Recovery Drive/Partition that you can boot to without the DD USB drive?

Changelog from dosdude: 1.4.4 - 5/28/2020 • Fixed compatibility with Catalina version 10.15.5 • This version also supports Catalina version 10.15.6 and 10.15.7

This means that the full installer is out, doesn't it?

(I know I could find out myself. But going through a full download and install just to find out is somewhat awkward)

Do you know where I can find all of the IWork suite from 2018 or 2019 I noticed that the latest version is having some issues. I think apple switched to their metal API on the latest version of Numbers, Pages, and Keynote. If anybody knows where I can find the older version for Mojave and Catalina let me know

If I install Mojave and Catalina installed on the same partition but different volumes of course, should I expect that Catalina would create it's own Recovery partition? Then when I run diskutil list on the terminal I should see two Recovery partitions? What is the correct behavior here?

Hallo,
Please use the new file downloadable from: https://www.sendspace.com/file/jwxnni
Unzip the file and copy all resulting files to PS2021 install directory (/Applications/Adobe\ Photoshop\ 2021/Adobe\ Photoshop\ 2021.app/Contents/Frameworks/)
Hope it works now
Big thanks but doesn't work yet on my MacPro 3,1 : there is still one dylib not loading correctly as seen here on the error log and I don't understand why as it is present in the frameworks of the app.......

The .7 Supplemental Update is a Security Update which only fixes three MacOS problems. It is very doubtful with Apple urgency now on Big Sur and Apple Silicon any updated full-installer should appear. Supported Macs are served updates without issue. Unsupported Mac users must learn a few extra steps (thanks to @jackluke and TimothyR734) to remain up-to-date. Kinda cool, really.

And these extra steps are located where?

Downloading MacOS Catalina with dosdude's patcher 1.4.4 now results in an 10.15.7 installation.

Update done to 19H15 without problems through normal Apple update on iMacs 2011 212,5'' and 27''. You need to re-apply patches after for wifi and sound. And prior to update erase hd3000 package to avoid kernel panic with new iosurface.kext that you'll have to replace after update,
