Ok cool. Thanks for taking a look. I’ll try that later on!After "diskutil mount disk7s5" type:sudo mount -uw /Volumes/bs
anyway from your pictures I don't notice mount point for system non-snapshot, try instead these steps:

Does the Mac Pro Catalina OpenCore spoofing method somewhat work on a MBP 8,1??? thxTo install Mojave and Catalina you should use spoofing to a supported Mac, I have disabled that option in my customized setup, but you can use dosdude1 Mojave and Catalina Patcher to make your USB Installer to work on an unsupported Mac.
Beta 2 came out July 7th. So this should be the download link for beta 2anyone have LINK Beta 2?
Do you have a working night shift on the Mac Pro?Just share install on MD101 and MacPro

Cara Mudah Install MacOS Big Sur di MacBook MD101 - iNitial E
Success installing BigSur Beta 4 on Macmini 2010 (Macmini4,1) Core 2 Duo Penryn 2.4 Ghz Nvidia Geforge 320M
on external USB hard disk partition. Patched with Hax3 + OpenCoreLoader4 + Beta3 fixes credits to @ASentientBot @jackluke
It boots from Apple picker, it is much faster than Beta 3.
Works: Bluetooth, Wifi, USB, ext mic, SIRI, ext Webcam
Still to fix: Ethernet, Internal Audio, Graphic acceleration
Hello Alex-Microsmeta,
Just curious how you got SIRI to work. Siri crashes on launch on my installation (MacBook Pro 5,2 C2D Penryn), while everything else you listed works (in addition, internal sound and mic work perfectly). There is no graphic acceleration available.
I don’t know what the hell I’m doing wrong but for the last 3-4 days Iv been trying to get sudo mount -uw / to work. None of the patches or methods all me to delete snapshots with ASentientBot method. I check and csrutil and csrutil authentication-root are disabled according to terminal. In the second terminal window I have open it appears it’s mounted as /bs\ 1 but if I run the command it says it failed because it’s read only. And running the command with just /bs says it doesn’t exist.
If you get a chance can you look at the attachment and see if I’m doing something wrong. Thanks
Awesome! Thanks for the info. That is something else I’ll make sure that I do. Hopefully that’s the problemFrom what you've attached, if you'll use double quotes, drop the '\'. If you'll use '\', drop the double quotes.
Either use /Volumes/bs\ 1 or "/Volumes/bs 1" including the (")
Are you doing fresh installs? Or did you try upgrading a Catalina? I know when I tried to upgrade a Catalina drive to Big Sur I had all kinds of weird issues.Hello Alex-Microsmeta,

@jackluke I write here because is very funny for all us what happened
I have tried to send from BigSur beta 4 Terminal and Recovery (via OpenCoreLoader4)
nvram boot-args="-no_compat_check" (csrutil status is disabled)
everytime it returned: nvram: error setting variable -'boot-args': (iokit/common) general error.
Finally I tried from dosdude1 macOS Catalina Pattcher and it worked
Anyone got an idea here: MBP 2012, BigSur 20A4300a installed and working (external HD via USB or internally). Patched the USB installer using micro patcher 0.0.19. Can boot the USB installer, but will always get a BIerrorDomain Error 3 on all devices. Not so when booting from Catalina. The internal SSD then becomes available for upgrade. However, the external HD with BigSur installed won't be seen. What am I missing?
Public beta is build 20A5343j. Edit: dev beta 4 is 20A5343i?? link!
Probably very minor changes, like using a different software update catalog. Maybe it also opens Feedback Assistant automatically when you log in or something like that -- I know that was once a difference between dev beta and public beta builds years ago, maybe in the Mavericks or Yosemite time frame.Same size, is there some changes compared with the dev beta 4?
One thing I want to do soon is to take a closer look at the WiFi patch and see if there's anything I can do to make it less buggy. (It has had bugs to varying degrees with all of the Big Sur betas.) I have ideas but I need to implement and test before I promise anything.Wifi, patched on a 2012 Mac Mini is buggy, I can't connect to several of my Wifi networks, it connects to 1, if I want to change it I will get an error that the Wifi network does not exist, WTF, it shows in the Wifi Menu Bar dropdown menu.
@Barry K. Nathan the version 17 of ur patcher may works on public beta 4? when I used the 17 one on BS3 my wifi buttons and keylight buttons works good, but now work buggy....One thing I want to do soon is to take a closer look at the WiFi patch and see if there's anything I can do to make it less buggy. I probably won't get a chance to look into it until a week from now, but we'll see...
