Use CMD + R at startup, pressing the keys simultaneously before and during the gong's sound. Keep them pressed until the Apple logo appears.
Important! You must have Catalina installed with the latest Dosdude1 patch (version 1.44) which enables both options: CMD+R or the Shift key to enter Safe Mode. Older versions of the Dosdude1 patch do not allow you to use boot options.
I have a MacBook 5.1 and a MBP from late 2010 and everything works with Catalina 10.5.7 latest build and Dosdude1 patch version 1.44

Yes Bro you are correct i am using catalina patches by dosdude.
Bro how to enter into RECOVERY MODE WITH CATALINA,IF I AM NOT WRONG CMD+R.IF THESE ARE THE KEY THEN ITS TAKE ME TO MAC OS UTILITIES NOT TO RECOVERY.
Tell me the way how to Enter Recovery mode.
Thank you
You put USB Installer BS or Catalina > Restart > Option > choose Installer BS or Catalina > Menu > Terminal

You put USB Installer BS or Catalina > Restart > Option > choose Installer BS or Catalina > Menu > Terminal
It's not correct! If you want to use the "csrutil disable" or "csrutil enable" command, the command works only from the CMD+R boot option on the SAME SYSTEM DISK.
The command, otherwise, works but has no effect if you start the Utilities using a USB installation key or another external System disk or by booting from a partition with another System on the same Mac.

Fabulous videos! Thanks for putting in the effort to do these. I would like to vote for your doing a video on using bigmac, just to complete the set! It and the rest of these videos are going to be a great help to the intended audience.

Apply that above command (OPERATION NOT PREMITTED)
You should use the actual command "sudo nvram 'recovery-boot-mode=unused' && reboot recovery" without the "icode" tags used to highlight it in my post. That is just forum formatting.

You have to enter:

sudo nvram 'recovery-boot-mode=unused' && reboot recovery

not

(icode) sudo nvram 'recovery-boot-mode=unused' && reboot recovery (/icode)

[] replaced by ()

I told you, that you need to create elcapitan's install usb stick (or HDD or SDD partition) and do SIP-disable under recovery, booted from this stick (Hdd or SSD partition).

thanks for the videos. how about clean install using patched sur?

I try both icode and without icode
Fail
Don't try both. Only one is correct and often people make mistakes when trying wrong things by mistkenly copying to what they think is the correct trial.

So, only try the correct one and post the error that you get.

Still no news about the macOS Big Sur 11.1 Release Candidate (20C69) full installer package? Nobody found it yet?
