Try to read the OCLP online docs on Github - it is a more valuable source than you can imagine!
And: enable AMFI again

Hi all, there is a way to automate the trim enabling at every restart with OCLP?
If I reset the PRAM I need to enable it again with sudo trimforce enable

Thanks

Did Simeone try to install big sur 11.5.1 with open core 072 on mac pro 2010 or with the latest open core legacy patcher thanks

Anyone had any luck with the Latebloom settings for a Late 2009 iMac 27 i7 for Big Sur 11.5.1? I went with the LB default settings and then upped the first one from 100 to 250, but both tries were no good. System locks up after launching the Big Sur Installer and just sits there.

From prior reports and my own experience, 100/20/1 or 200/40/0 work for iMac 2010 27".

I have created à open core version for my Mac Pro with OCLP 024 I have put it on a usb stick to boot on as always

This guy has an iMac with a NVIDIA K1100M metal GPU and he totally messed up the upgrade. Instead of just installing he somehow managed to post install the TS2 (AMD6000 GPU) patches. Check his post and screen shots.

Later on he suffered of the AMFI setting. Obviously he ignored my advice to enable it, again.

He does surely not need to load older non metal apps. He needs a completely fresh start.

Where did you find the info on his rig? Serious question. 🧐

Here I had to go back to Big Sur 11.4, because 11.5.1 started giving some random bugs in the system bar, Finder no longer responded, it was crazy.

OpenCore Legacy Patcher 0.2.4
MacBook Air 2012 11" Intel Core i5 1.7 GHz 4GB RAM 1TB SSD WD

I installed 11.5.1 on one of my older iMacs today (11,1 Late 2009 27", 2.66 i5, Radeon HD 4850 512Mb). As expected, very slow until the boot volume was patched, then it took off. Performance is very good considering the age of this puppy. I ran SilentKnight to see if it needed any further upgrades and noticed that SIP and SSV are disabled. Is this normal for this late 2009 iMac/OCLP? The key to getting this late 2009 27" working on Big Sur, was installing OCLP onto an external SSD. (2.5 Crucial 64Gb SSD/3.0 USB). Every USB flash drive or microSD I tried failed. You OCLP guys are nailing these things! My hat is off to you, thanks!

Got Big Sur installed on a 2012 Mac Mini. I cannot for the life of me get logged into my iCloud however. Is this a common problem? If so is there a fix?
