Then I ask around with which OS would Photoshop still be running? Big sur?
Again!

It is not the macOS version limiting the ability to run the latest Photoshop, it is your old graphics card!

The only way to run Photoshop is using an older software version (possibly 4 years old when High Sierra was still supported and not needing a metal capable graphics card?) or changing the graphics card in your iMac11,3 mid 2010.

Then I say thank you! That is the solution. I'm going back with the program.

It's an iMac made by friends and I don't want to put a lot of time and money into it, a simple and quickly implementable solution and good.

Then I'll see that we will use an older version.

thanks again to everyone.

In before I am using OTA to upgrade to b2, the system preferences ->> share airplay receiver setting is disappear.
After I am cleaned install the b2 with OLCP 0.3.2, the system preferences ->> share airplay receiver setting is appear again, but I am using the iPadOS 15.2 beta 2 or 3, YouTube apps to play video the airplay is disconnected. It seems the macOS to drop the airplay stream. Is it the display driver problem. I am using MacBook Pro 2014.

• 12hrs+ in - macOS 12.1b3 OTA atop b2 installed quickly without drama. Overall, Mini3,1 performance is better than expected, testing apps revealed only two as not-useable - Safari and Firefox esr both frozen at first screen. Chrome runs perfectly in their stead. Despite the death-by-WebKit of the browsers this Beta is a keeper. OCLP_032N.

• Please bear in mind this is the result of TESTING two Betas at once. Beta 3 and OCLP_032 are not release versions so issues are certain. Observing and reporting is the intended result. ;)

Maybe someone can help me. I have A Macbook Pro 15" 2014. Installed Monterey with OC and it´s really great. However, if I install Windows via Bootcamp Assistant, always do it in UEFI mode. I want to install it Legacy Mode. Any ideas?

Thanks.

I’d like to know what settings you guys changed in OCLP v032n to get OTA update to beta 3, because I’ve tried SMBIOS spoof options with no effect? I had to use v031 to get the OTA going.

So why try to change something in nightly build while official release is doing fine with the problem? ;)

I am a bleeding edge wannabe ? And I am amazed you are still using v017: ”if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it“.

In fact, I use 0.3.1. 0.1.7 was the first version of transfer from Big Sur. But you are right, it's time to update it ;)

Right; I also had to boot the 12.1b2 with OCLP 0.3.1 to see the b3 in software updates. After installation applied the patches from 0.3.2 nightly downloaded today. All this on a testing SSD connected to USB.
Behaviour of b3 on my MBP5,2 fine except Safari and Firefox as K two has said. Looks as if now both miss events all the time. Clicking the Finder (desktop) and back in the browser apparently lets some events percolate through (my interpretation).
Also manually installed the latest SkyLight pre-release by ASB, dated 16Nov, with jackluke‘s tool. It doesn‘t change browser behaviour and isn‘t meant to do so (didn‘t try the new plugin feature it offers).

Whats been working for me real well is downloading the full package and double clicking it and simply running the installer from the applications folder. It's real fast!.
Been doing it this way for the last 5 versions of Monterey including 12.1 Beta3.
Installed on (4) Mac Pro 5,1's and a mbPro 2010 17".
Thanks Guys! :)

The link below has legacy install ISOs for Windows 10 designed to use on Macs. These worked great when I was triple booting a 2006 macbook and later a 2011 Macbook pro with MacOS, windows, and linux. After you get windows installed and the drivers set up, you can just upgrade to the latest version of windows 10, through the update assistant in windows. These ISO files were designed by Hrutkay Mods to use with Macs that have 32 bit efis, but they work fine on machines that have 64 bit efis too. It ends up being a legacy installation of Windows.

I had some cavets at first triple booting with this... (Windows wouldn't boot after I installed linux), but then I found a program called "gdisk" which you run once in recovery mode, and it gave me the ability to triple boot. I'll put that info below also.

Some day, I'd like to try this with opencore installed on a partition alongside a windows 10 partition, and also a native macOS partition, but I haven't gotten around to it yet.

If you have trouble booting a legacy install of windows partitioned alongside other OSes, see the link below, and scroll down to "solution using a third party tool." I've used this tool to boot legacy installs of windows 10 alongside macos and linux, when the SSD is paritioned for triple booting.

My experience updating from 12.1b2 to b3 on a test partition (am running 12.0.1 as my daily OS), was that when using the full installer, I booted my prepared USB drive to the following message each time:

OCSB: No suitable signature - Security Violation
OCB: Apple Secure Boot prohibits this boot entry, enforcing!
OCB: LoadImage failed - Security Violation

I googled a bit and found that I had to change, in the config.plist, Misc/Security/SecureBootModel from 'default' to 'disabled' (no quotes). After this, I was able to do the update without a hitch. I reinstated 'default' and was still able to reboot into 12.1b3.

Another member said that beta 3 fried his Firefox (mine is up-to-date @ 94.0.1) and Safari. Both of these are running fine on my MP5,1 after the update.

What was the problem ?

Long story.
on my MacBook Pro I’ve been having to force shut down through the update process as it hangs on Kepler patches (I think) so force shut down restart safe mode apply patches reboot working install however (maybe I forced shut down to early ) I could boot safe mode apply patches but would still get stuck normal boot , removing Kepler patches rebooting and logging in put it back on track another force shut down safe mode Kepler patches reboot all working. It was hanging on basesystemkernelextensions.kext originally.

In my case on a 5,1 with a metal card all 3 browsers work good but on my Non-Metal GPU mbpro 2010, Only Chrome works good.

Definitely a non-Metal GPU issue. Thank you for confirming. Since no Metal Macs here it is hard to confirm suspicions. ?‍♂️ The question now is what did Apple depreciate in Beta 3??

Additional - Chrome runs at least four Renderer and one GPU helper for it to work on these MOST primitive of unsupported Macs.

Your cMP very impressive. Congrats. ☺️

Further testing -

The 11/11 11PM ?OCLP_032N release with Beta 3 is making some progress with dead Safari and deaf&blind Firefox on no Metal Macs ?
• Safari runs, now loads pages fine but then freezes and will not scroll.
• Firefox runs, loads blank page and dies, now freezing on a low-contrast blank page.
• Chrome is fine, runs as fast as Firefox once did ⚡

I can also confirm on my non-metal White MacBook6,1 (Late 2009) that Safari now hangs (website is loading, but scrolling is not working while focus on browser window - switching to another app and back to browser will refresh scrolling and freeze again) on freshly installed Monterey 12.1 Beta 3 with latest OCLP 0.32 nightly (post-install graphics acceleration patch and "defaults write -g ASB_BlurBeta -bool true"). I'm using Microsot Edge Chromium (95.0.1020.53) right now (scrolling is ok here, but it's not as fast as Safari on Monterey 12.1 Beta 2 with OCLP 0.32 nightly and same patches.

Some new "bugs": Login screen shows wrong keyboard layout language (U.S. English although other layout is used - will be shown correctly after login is successful) and although completely fresh installed (deleting old partition with no data at all and building OCLP with patching EFI partition on SSD), connecting to my wireless network router was done automatically although no network was selected and no ssid/passphrase was entered (no Apple ID, no restoration, nothing) - this seems to be stored somewhere else... :-/

On my MBP 8,1 every since i updated to Monterey safari would freeze and so does Firefox. I have not tried chrome.
I never had this issue on Big Sur... (I may go back)
I'm only on Monterey 12.1 beta (21C5031d)
beta3 has not showed up for me yet (I'm only on the public beta train so not sure if it's not released yet to public beta testers or it's an issue with OCLP).
I also am running the latest OCLP via git and update it often so it's even newer then the nightly's
