Don´t know if it will be useful for anyone, but today I updated to OCLP 0.3.3. from a previous version in my Mac Pro 5.1.
Air Reciever appeared, but connection with airpods was awful, losing it continuosly. Also, Unlock with Apple Watch stopped working. Reverting to previous fixed it.

Which previous? ?

The previous patcher that was used states the version in the opening screen.

for example. • From your screenshot, guessing _025 or _030? ?‍♂️

If no one else is having this is issue, any idea how to resolve?
Anyone trying to help would benefit from more info. Are these full system crashes associated with any particular apps? Do they occur on startup, or on some other system event like sleep, wake, etc?

As other users previously mentioned here, suffered from full system crashes from older versions of the betas/OCLP. I never stopped getting them. I did stop using Safari, this hasn't helped unfortunately. They only happen when I'm connected mains, apps seems completely random. I only use this Macbook for web browsing, games and emails. If left charging in sleep it will have crashed when i go back to it guaranteed so i always just turn it now when charging but this starting to prove inconvenient. Is it worth doing a full install from a USB installer rather than just the incremental OTA updates?

Just install latest OCLP on your ssd, reboot and check for updates. Monterey will be offered for installation, eventually...
Just downloaded and installed the OCLP from the source shown on the first page of this thread. rebooted and ran software update and Monterey doesn't show up as of yet..... maybe need to leave computer on for a few days. Although I shouldn't be in a hurry.... Big Sur works very nicely on it.....

To have Airplay Receiver working on 12.1 with OCLP prior to 0.3.3 (I use 0.3.1 for instance) you have to use FeatureUnlock.kext from 0.3.3.

Hi guys. I have re-installed the beta 2 profile from my developer account and the update poped up on OTA. Used (like a stupid) OCPL 0.3.3 (instead the 0.2.5 I used so far and never had an issue) and after it installed and restarted, when I tried applying the post install patch, got stuck... Did a reboot and now my system is in a loop on apple logo, it goes for aboit 25% and then restarts... So pissed off!!!! If anybody has any ideea...
Yeah I have an idea. How about booting in verbose mode, which is essential to even see what's going on? Because no one can read your mind and definitely can't see what's going on on your Mac behind that shiny Apple boot logo. And btw, if it frustrates using apple's beta versions then why not stick with main release 12.1?

You could also boot with a USB-Installer and make a backup of your Monterey partition using dd in terminal (or even boot linux to do the same) before doing beta updates. And please don't tell me you're using a 1TB/2TB SSD with just one partition having Monterey installed on, that's always a bad idea. Just saying.

Personally I believe the OTA updates are a work in progress and so I totally ignore the OTA notifications. But once notified, I run gibMacOs (look it up) to download the apple installer, and put it in the applications folder on the target usb/ssd drive.

I then run the installer on the target drive while booted into my primary m/c by clicking on it finder, I'm assuming here your target usb drive /applications folder is visible on from the booted session. When the 'search all drives' prompt appears showing only your currently booted drive click on the button to search All Drives, and select your usb drive.

Best to stay in front of your m/c to make sure the reboots are from the external drive. After it's done its thing rerun OCLP 033 and rebuild OCLP on the booted external drive again, then restart, then run OCLP option 3, post install patches. Actually maybe your Mac doesn't need option 3, I'm no expert. And, you guessed it, reboot again. HTH

I believe it's wrong approach. All the discussions run there have single purpose: to help ourselves to find a proper answer. So to ask anything not having read all that was said before is kinda impolite and inconvenient, in my opinion.

And I believe that OTA is one of great benefits using OCLP.

hello, nobody have a response about my problem about Monterey install ? thanks

Had trata same problem The first time I tried to install on my 3,1 with a gtx770. Solved changing to a Radeon r9. Maybe try with a different graphics card even a nvidia one?

cette carte est déjà de chez Nvidia et compatible métal…

is it possible that there is a conflict between the catalina patch designed by Dosdude1 that I used to install Catalina and which works really fine and the OCLP versions to install Monterey?

Hey guys, I was trying to help the guy. He requested help, I gave it, after getting more info after his "it just doesn't work" post. I was in user support for decades and fielded thousands of calls like this. People need to be specific about their particular problem before it's possible to provide assistance.

And yes actually I read this thread every day, after having followed it since the beginning. I get it, people are having a wide range of problems on a wide range of machines at the moment. This is very frustrating for a lot of people until they find their particular solutions.

Re OTA it doesn't work on my external USB, and I don't get incremental updates on my Mac anyway due to post install patches so no benefit whatsoever, but that's just my own use case.

When I reboot the system after installing OCLP, do I have to use the OPTION key when it starts or just a regular normal boot process? still do not see Monterey in software updates.

There is more written about unsupported cMPs than any other type of Mac. Go to the top of this page, you will see a tiny magnifying glass, not sure it speaks French, tho? ?‍♂️
