When I boot-up - EVO 840 SSD on SATA SSD PCIe Apricorn DUO X2 - my macOS 12.6.3 OCLP 0.6.1, I notice some havy resources used bij the "mds_stores" process. It seems to make the boot-up up feel slow, heavy and sluggish.
Anyone whom recognize this with their own - clean - install? Thanks.

Wow, that seemed to work, thank you! Didn't Apple state that from Monterey on it is not allowed anymore to clone the boot volume? Now they provide their own tools.

Even if you are running Catalina (which is a supported OS)on a 2012 mini, you will not be able to run the Apple Hardware Test (AHT).
Apple took the AHT and diagnostics away from most 2012 models years ago with a Mojave firmware update. 2011 macs were not able to natively run Mojave, so 2011 and lower still have the AHT, and Apple Diagnositics have been built into newer models. But many 2012 models have basically been thrown under the bus by Apple regarding diagnostics / AHT. OWC detailed the problem (including probably your EFI error) in the link below:

I 've tried OCLP on MBP12,1 early 2015 to install Ventura
XCode crash, Simulator crash
Problem is due to iGPU kexts that OCLP borrows from BigSure.
Apple Diagnostics works fine on my two MBPs (always via internet, also with only D pressed): so, you could try to reset the NVRAM and SMC, and also update your firmware (which seems to be the culprit on some Mac models: nothing to do with OCLP, anyway)…

What doesn't make sense to me is why Apple Diagnostics via Internet Recovery doesn't work regardless on these machines. Really hate how Apple doesn't ever fix the bugs they create.
I installed Monterey on my iMac 2010 11.3 using OCLP and all seemed to have worked until it booted and was connecting my mouse and keyboard using bluetooth. My mouse connected but my keyboard did not so I had to stop the installation and installed Big Sur again. Can you help pls?

I replaced Catalina (Dosdude1) with OCLP 0.6.1 Monterey a few days ago. It actually runs very well, compliments to the developers.
I have now discovered an anomaly and a problem:
1. The beach ball does not spin.
2. Photo boot only delivers a black image, iSight camera lights up green and also works in Whats App
If someone would have a solution to Photo Boot it would be great.
Yesterday I built a dual boot with High Sierra. I added a volume and formatted it with Journaled Extended.
Would it work if I set up a boot camp with Windows 7 in this volume?
What do you think?

Basically run the same procedure on the builds in the link below from the bottom towards the top and let me know on which commit it fails? (You can skip the "sync changelog" and similar documentation commits)

Since the updated of OCLP which enables Ventura install on my machine, that is what has been installed. I no longer have Monterey installed on my machine, so unfortunately, I cannot help with that issue.
When OCLP rolled back to AppleALC 1.6.3, I stopped looking for the reason due to the fact that everything was working for me.

Any improvement in terms of the speed compared to Catalina? I have Catalina installed the first time I revived the 2010 MBP and daren't challenge anything higher...

As somebody else with a mid 2010, the last version of Monterey installed and ran fine.
I’m on Ventura now, which runs the same if not better than Monterey.
Hi everyone, I installed latest Monterey with OCLP 0.61 on a MacBook Air 13" 2011 with Sandy Bridge CPU an Intel HD 3000 GPU. Everything works fine with the Non-Metal GPU Acceleration Patches except one very annoying problem. If I select text within MS Word I get a grey blurry selection and cannot see excatly, what I select. Has anyone a solution for that ? Unfortunately I have to work with MS Word a lot and it really bothers me. The problem doesN't occur within other text editors.
