yes, the install was via Sys Settings, Software update. No 'macos installer', it restarted after downloading/preparing update then got stuck at ~ 40%@mihaila How did you perform the 12.6.3 -> 12.6.7 upgrade? Did you use the "normal" upgrade (System Settings > Software Update)? When you performed your upgrade, did the upgrade download the full macOS installer (not the incremental)?
If you're not able to resume the current upgrade, you should still be able to boot the "old" macOS from the Open Core boot menu. Can you do that?
thanks, I appreciate it! I guess I'll try the latest ventura instead@mihaila I'm hoping that someone else has a suggestion, since I'm running out of ideas. Do you have another Mac where you could create a new 12.6.7 USB installer?
Timetec 1tb. Never had a problem with them in countless other machines I've used them on. https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B08GJBTCF6...94d29a8aabc39&language=en_CA&ref_=as_li_ss_tl@paul_bace What make/model NVMe SSD are you using? Also, does your Open Core EFI inject NVMeFix.kext?
Thank you @deeveedee, great tool to fix permissions problems with ZOOM app (I had with camera and microphone). Easy to run!
The permission problems happen because OCLP disables AMFI. tccplus is a great solution for now. There is a branch of OCLP that does not disable AMFI and thus does not require tccplus. This branch is in Beta now and will eventually be merged into the main OCLP repo. With this new implementation of OCLP, AMFI and Library Validation are fully enabled and it is no longer necessary to use tccplus.Thank you @deeveedee, great tool to fix permissions problems with ZOOM app (I had with camera and microphone). I am occasionally having the same problem on my Intel HD 4000 macs with Teams. This problem may be occurring in both supported and unsupported systems, though. Recently, with supported systems using teams, I’m also having a lot of problems. So these issues may just be Teams’ bugs,Hi, I'm having an issue with the standalone Teams app — it won't show my camera image remotely. Although the app has been granted permissions in the system pref pane, it only shows my camera image on my Mac, but other participants just see a black screen. Microphone works correctly. Both mic and camera work correctly using the web Teams app via Edge browser, on the same machine. Any thoughts? See signature for my config.
Thank you!@k000858 PhotoBooth is a known issue here. The claim is that it is resolved with OCLP 0.6.6, but I haven't found that to be the case. For me, if I want PhotoBooth on my MBP6,2, I need to revert to Big Sur. You can look at other issues/work-arounds here.
I'm no sure which "browsers" have camera issues, but review the work-arounds link and look for "Unable to grant special permissions to apps"
Did you reapply post patches after installing Safari?Hi! I installed Monterey on my Imac 13,2 with OCLP 0.5.0 according to this thread's installation info. However, I get som issues, one being in Safari where I get these weird green squares in some pictures on the web, very random. It only occurs in Safari. See attached a picture.
The other thing is that most sites reload and crash in Safari 16.5.1, "A problem occured multiple times". I know the easy solution is to not use Safari, but one major reason for using OCLP for me is the oppourtunity to use Safari on this machine, as I also have an iPhone and a Macbook Air that syncs bookmarks etc.
Any tips?
