Try this:
rm ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.coremedia.plist

if still doesn't work then this:
defaults write com.apple.coremedia hardwareVideoDecoder -string disable

also send this output:
Code:
ls -l /S*/L*/E*/*4000*VA*/C*/M*/
After

rm ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.coremedia.plist

Internet Connection is broken. WiFi ist stable.

EDIT - thats another Problem, restarting Router now

Update/Installation via SoftwareUpdate failed. MBP non retina late 2012, olcp 0.2.3, 21A5268h installed

After restart bootpicker showed up, I did choose the usual, the loading bar got stuck on 50%, after 7hrs pressed powerbutton, restart successful, installation bar showed up but system booted back into 21A5268h.

SoftwareUpdate offers again macOS 12 beta 3, download size 10,98gb.

Has someone booted a 12b3 createinstallmedia stick with Mac Pro 3,1, stock Bluetooth and oclp 0.2.3?

I ask because I have no USB (no Keyboard, no Magic Trackpad2, no mouse) and installer asks for a Bluetooth input device.

this machine is pretty basic, no PCIe Cards but GPU.

latebloom does not make a difference, thried 100-200ms.

Stock Bluetooth is not in this machine, also I do not have a BT stick at this location.

so the question is: does stock Bluetooth work on a 3,1 work with Moterey Beta 3 createinstallmedia.

Check this before installing Monterey on pre 2012 systems:

Short answer is NO.

ok, thank you for clarifying. So I dont need to swap the BT module from another MP3,1.

as I know from other machines internal plus external Bluetooth is not ideal.

so now the next question is: why is onBoard USB not working?

same oclp instance boots Big Sur 11.4 without a problem on this 3,1. Having BT would be just a workaround to continue the installation.

usb worked once btw without any hardware change. Installed Monterey b3 on a USB thumb drive but it wont get over the 3rd installation stage (when the disk get renamed back from MacOs Install). So I wanted to try on a sata disk.

dont matter what I try, dont get usb working again, interesting is that installer asks for Bluetooth devices even if there is no BT hardware in the box. Guess thats a glitch.

We are several users with this graphics card, we have problems with Safari.

My computer is an iMac late 2012 with GeForce 650M.

I know another person, who contacts me privately, with the same problem. Safari reload the websites non-stop, until it fails and stops. Some websites work well, but there are few. It seems that Safari is incompatible with some Web part and that is when this happens. I don't have extensions installed, I've cleared a cache, cookies,... it doesn't work. It is curious that when accessing from external links, for example Mail or Messages, Safari seems to work well.

So far, I have installed Safari Technology Preview, and without problems. We will see if anyone finds a solution for this bug or I will wait for Monterey beta 4.

macOS Monterey Beta 3 & Safari 15.0 (17612.1.22.1.4) issue
In "macOS Monterey Beta 3" sometimes Safari try to restart a page several times and then stops with a white page and notice that cannot load.
Initially I solved instantly from the menu:
Develop -> Disable JavaScript.
Once this done, the page has been opened without problems and now it is reopened even if I reactivated JavaScript.
Attention, since the problem may have been solved after installing "Safari Developer Preview", but don't ask me why... Maybe "Safari Developer Preview" introduced some packages in "Library" also needed for Safari?... I can't say it, but now Safari is always working, even if I open very complex pages.
In any case we could conclude that problems derive from poorly realized WEB pages or from Java version and/or that Apple will have to introduce some control so that Safari can open this pages also.

Note: the issue was reported privately and kindly by @Will350, thanking you
And... I forgot ... I add that Safari now it's very much much much much fast !!! ... Really impressive :)

Thank you very much Okonnel,

Javascript is the problem. I have disabled it and the pages load well without the error. When I activate the reload pages again, and I also have Safari Developer Preview installed...

Wher can I get the Developer Preview from Safari? Or is it part of the normal DP3 from Monterey?

Can confirm this safari bug only happens on the NVidea graphics - as mentioned on page 38 after my post - My iMac 13,2 has GeForce GTX 660 graphics where my MBP 2015 which has native support for Monterey has Intel Iris graphics.

Thank you to all those who found this bug - disabling Javascript works a treat as does running the safari technology preview.

No issues at all with the STP - writing this note on my iMac now without issues - this forum page wouldn't even load before...

Thanks to everyone much more clever than me for discovering all these patches and fixes, I'm just happy to confirm that they work.

** Added bonus ** you get a nice purple icon for STP which matches the purple theme of Monterery nicely - its as if they knew :D

Stock Bluetooth is not in this machine, also I do not have a BT stick at this location.

so the question is: does stock Bluetooth work on a 3,1 work with Moterey Beta 3 createinstallmedia.

Bluetooth 2.0EDR stock card is not going to work. I develop BigMac2 for Mac Pros and Beta 2 supported a 802.11ac/BT4LE 20702 Bluetooth card in Monterey Beta 2. In Beta 3, WiFi my 802.11ac Broadcom 43xx card is working, but the Bluetooth Broadcom 20702 card will need a patch to work and that is going to take some time as there are many Bluetooth files in Monterey.

As far as USB 2.0 devices including Apple's Magic 2 devices, you will need a USB 2.0 Hub or Switch (which also reads as a hub), I use a UGREEN Switch which works fine on beta 3. I just plug it in to a USB 2.0 port and then plug my Apple USB 2.0 devices to it. This also makes those devices hot swappable.

I just started investigating Bluetooth. It's rather annoying to have half of a WiFi/BT4 combo card working. Apple removes more and more stuff with each and every update.

I've been able to get latebloom to work on B2 with a BigMac2 install, but I have not gotten 0.19 Latebloom to work yet with B3. I've had less trouble with race conditions in B3. There are 2 race conditions I encounter, about 50% of my boot ups work without Latebloom. Waiting for that to settle down before testing LB again.

Problem: createinstallmedia bootstick Monterey Beta 3 got stuck into asking for Bluetooth input devices. No Bluetooth available.

ok, I tested a bit further.
added a USB Hub, no cure (anyway, the Keyboard was thru the Apple Cinema Display Hub), got the gui for adding Bluetooth Mouse or Trackpad.

I have seen boot messages showing Keyboard and Apple Cinema USB Hardware.

I tried to hotplug USB stuff, add a USB Mouse and the cursor moved. wtf ?!... ok, maybe I had the USB Mouse in on 1st attempt. Used to have that USB Mouse plugged in before I used the Magic Trackpad 2 wired.

Booted again with USB Mouse in and got the createmediainstall bootstick working with USB in the MP3,1

Latebloom showed its delay messages, too btw (100/10/1 settings).

Must call it a day, will try to install Monterey Beta 3 when I get spare time.

But the main problem is solved. The reason was I assumed wired Magic Trackpad 2 is working as a pointing device in every situation (what it usually does).

Have you tried BlueToolFixup.kext yet?

My bluetooth card is internal Broadcom 20702 which should work. I've seen it working sparingly on B2 and B3. I am going to install B1 and see if it works there. Tried BlueToothFixup.kext but didn't seem to work.

1626736466515.png

Something is off. This did work a few times, but might have been dumb luck. Going to install Monterey Beta 1 to see if it works there.

I have an ASUS BlueTooth 5 LE dongle ordered for 19.99 to see if it works.

For USB 2.0, I use a UGREEN 2.0 Hub. It's really a switch to share USB devices between multiple computers, but I mainly use this one to get my Apple USB Keyboard and Mouse, Magic 2 devices to work and become hot swappable under Monterey. On BigSur you could plug the Apple devices in directly, but they still work not how swappable over USB. The Hubs I use as Bus powered and they are very compact and easy to use.
