Does the issue persist when booting into safe mode or logging into another user account? hold shift + Enter when booting up. Check console for corresponding crash logs.

It persisted after a completely clean install with no data migration. I'm doing another clean install now (I stuffed it up trying to patch with OCLP 0.6.1 instead of 0.6.2, to see if that was the problem). The problem went away when I reverted the root patches.

Once it's set up again I'll try with safe mode.

Same, here. Installed Opencore/Ventura 13.3/Monterey/Big Sur with OCLP 0.6.2 and could not get camera to work. Tried with facetime and zoom and the same. Gave rights to zoom using tccplus; still nothing. Tried most of the suggestions out there still could not get it to work. Have a MacBook Pro 17" early 2011 (8,3) / 16GB ram. BTW, a Logitech USB cam worked perfectly.

Works perfectly
All my bugs fixed.

Preview app : grey screen.
Photoshop : crashes.
Kontakt (Native Instruments) : grey screen.
Missing icons on preferences.

Same iMac 15,1 with 13.3.1 and OCLP nightly (dated 4-8-2023 4:35 am):
PPT MS Office 2019 retail works fine, Outlook (Apple App store free version, works fine.
Preview - Edit: Presenter View Crashes, editing mode works OK
System Settings all OK, with icons showing, some have a very slight delay on opening, no issues otherwise
Don't have any Adobe apps, cannot test

Clear nstalled on iMac 27 late 2013 (1 gb graphic card) with disk formatting ventura 13.3 via open core patcher 0.6.3. Everything works well, except does not display icons in the system settings, zoom can not get access sound and camera and adobe bridge of any version does not start (the licensed adobe package other graphic programs work fine, photoshop, indesign illustrator... Usb installer was created on a computer of the same line but with a different configuration. This is bridge error. Attach iMac profile on which the installation disk was created, the same problem with zoom but no settings icons render issue. Any ideas?

you can try this workaround by using tccplus to grant permissions like Zoom etc.

HI @StrongTequila! I also have your same iMac14.2 and although I am very expert I gave up on 13.3 and went back to 13.2.1 with which everything works fine, a thousand times better than Catalina and in a stable way (including the Apps) except "Continuity Camera".
If you also want to activate "Live Text" and "Remove background" you can follow the instructions I provide in a previous post, also explained with two very clear screenshots in attach. In fact, in our Macs, these features can be activated because in our case does not cause problems as in other Macs.
So after all, Ventura 13.3 does not introduce new features and therefore it is much better to have a modern and stable System with macOS 13.2.1 that works at 110%, waiting for the genius Developers of OCLP to fix all problems.
A little tip at end: if you use Photoshop you have to disable OpenCL acceleration in its Preferences, otherwise the advanced sharpening filter gives problems. Without OpenCL, however, PS takes advantage of Metal and works fine.

It doesn't help including the update OCLP 0.6.3. Might have to wait for a new OCLP version. No possibility of system downgrade now, the computer is remote and used at work. If the problem is only with zoom and bridge, then this is not critical

Interesting info, thanks! I'm not sure if it applies to my setup (2013 MBA, 13.2.1 w/Intel 5000), but below are what the settings in PS look like in the latest version and a link to Adobe Help on the matter.

I haven't braved 13.3.1 yet... My Safari Technology Preview is behaving properly again (and everything else seems well) so I am good for now.

MBP5,2: experience with 13.3.1 and 13.4b

Tried two versions of OCLP 0.6.3n, one downloaded on 29 March, one on 7 April (the latest one), with these two macOSs. Also used PatcherSupportPkg 0.9.1 and 0.9.2 with 29Mar, and 0.9.2 and 0.9.3 with 7Apr.

13.4b (on external SSD):
- all combinations fine, just Safari not OK with PSP 0.9.1.

13.3.1 (internal SSD):
- fails after root patch with 7Apr, for both 0.9.2 and 0.9.3: left part of menu bar missing, most apps won't start incl Finder
- works with 29Mar both PSPs, just Safari not OK with PSP 0.9.1 (but see below).

So avoid latest 0.6.3n with 13.3.1 on this non-metal MBP. Which is fine, it is nightlies after all! I was just curious.
The may be hidden parameters leading to this result.


EDIT: after more installations of 13.3.1 to internal SSD from USB installer, also OCLP 063n from 29Mar doesnt work: left part of menu bar missing, apps not starting. Did NVRAM and SMC resets before.
Went back to 062 release, all fine, but need to use Firefox (safari blank page if in the foreground, as expected).

Thanks for catching this. Do you happen to have Console crash reports? If not, I'll test 13.3.1 soon (still on 13.3 beta 🤦🏻‍♀️).

I haven't braved 13.3.1 yet... My Safari Technology Preview is behaving properly again (and everything else seems well) so I am good for now.

THANKS @plugsnpixels!!! I didn't know there was a way to look at photoshop behavior regarding iGPU and dGPU! Thank you very much!
In my case I can say that if OpenCL is not disabled (after, Photoshop has to be closed and restarted) the advanced sharpening filter shows huge pixels instead of the image. This is because Photoshop's internal test doesn't recognize my graphics card well (nVidia GeForce GTX780M 4GB VRAM) and doesn't use OpenCL correctly. Also because Apple now deems OpenCL obsolete, so Adobe doesn't bother much with fixing bugs with OpenCL but, in return, they have improved the use of Metal technology in Photoshop. So PS it works fast even if OpenCL option is disabled. Thanks!

Also, rebuilt dyld shared cache and nothing(.

PPT MS Office 2019 retail works fine, Outlook (Apple App store free version, works fine.
Preview - Edit: Presenter View Crashes, editing mode works OK
System Settings all OK, with icons showing, some have a very slight delay on opening, no issues otherwise
Don't have any Adobe apps, cannot test

So on my 15,1 iMac Retina running 13.3.1 with 0.6.3n Rebuild, install & Root Patch no issues
a. Preview works again
b. MS PPT still crashes
c. System Settings all icons ok

So here's another interesting nugget. It's not 13.3.1 that's causing this.
My MacMini 6,2 was set to not check/install any MacOS updates but to "Install Security Responses and system files" so it's still on Ventura 13.3, it too failed to load anything in Preview and had MS PPT crash in presenter mode. Both zoom and MSTeams fail to work as well. After running 0.6.3n and root patch, Preview is back to normal but the rest are all still kaput.

p.s. The only system in my home unscathed is a 13,2 iMac which is running OCLP 0.6.2 and Ventura 13.3. I had turned off ALL updates on this machine as it was my daily driver.
The 15,1 iMac, I actually installed OCLP on the day after 13.3.1 came out so I was "screwed" from the get go... . I should have selected 13.3 but dang it!

I make a small amusing digression.
If I remember correctly, we had big problems both with Big Sur 11.3 which removed support for many graphics cards and introduced other big changes (it also caused infinite loops at Login) and with Monterey 12.3.
Sympathetically, therefore, one could deduce that the third release of each new macOS brings bad luck to unsupported Macs and therefore, if the X.2.x release is stable, it is better to sit still and wait for the OCLP’s Developers to overcome the new obstacles.
After the X.3.x, so far, it would seem that all is well then as the Apple Engineers start dedicating themselves to the next OS and they don't bother us anymore.

Here, on iMac late 2013 14,1 i can’t open files in photoshop 2023 with color embed profile because you have to choose the color profile and as soon as you choose, window choose hang and you have to force quit. No Issue in Photoshop 2020 (OCLP 0.6.3n)

I had to download all 12GB of it plus the 600mb of the AutoPkg-Assets in order to apply the patches.

I suppose that's the way to do it from now on. There is no way to just download the update, correct? (by reverting the patches before searching for the update).

On my MacBookPro11,2 (Late 2013 15" MacBook Pro, Haswell CPU), installed the latest nightly OCLP build with pre-existing macOS 13.3 (22E252) and post-install root patches. It seems to be doing better on the following three counts:

1. Preview is showing images again
2. Waking up from overnight sleep works again (otherwise I had to force shutdown and restart again every time).
3. And so far continuity camera has been working repeatedly with an iPhone Pro 13 in FaceTime. Earlier it would work only sometimes/rarely and unrepeatably.

VMware doesn't work, and will not work until the AMFI issue is resolved, as others have reported.
