Hello,
I have exactly the same model and with the current version of Ventura 13.3.1 I also have various graphics problems. For example, windows under other apps are not displayed and are just black.
did you meanwhile update to OCLP 0.6.4 and still have these issues?

MBA 6,1, 13.2.1 and OCLP 0.6.2 – I finally gave up on all flavors of Safari! Tired of the hangs and unresponsiveness of it in these configurations (OK on supported Macs). Other browsers are fine. Making Brave my default with FF and Chrome for other things.

Otherwise, everything else is working fine (VMs, Adobe, etc.) so I'm hanging here for now...

everything works fine with latest 0.6.4 only real issues are continunity camera FACETIME not communicate with wifi signal on Imac models Ivy and Haswell probably some modification need to be done to communicate and quicktime with boom plugin can cause sound no been routed properly maybe boom3d version

Also iphone mirror via wifi screen mirroring

only usb cable works at moment

Maybe with Amfi enabled in 0.6.5 will be resolved

we are waiting last intel OS GOD KNOWS

ONLY MUSIC SYNC AND FINDER WORKS OKEY IN WIFI

what can developers improve probably boot time like intel nvm ssd 2018 imac and mac minis

Quick update: my MacBookPro9,2 was seriously acting up under macOS 13.3.1 and OCLP 0.6.3 (system alert sounds and sound playback through QuickLook or QuickTime was very spotty or completely failing, images and icons were not being properly rendered, with all sorts of visual corruption, Keychain Access was always forgetting my saved disk decryption passwords after rebooting – which, in my case, is a hassle as I have the obvious SSD upgrade on my optical drive bay –, Affinity Publisher would crash on launch, etc. – and yes, I did check the SATA cables were fine, by accessing the machine's SSDs through Target Disk Mode and also triggering yet a new Apple bug, KPs on both an Intel iMac and my M1 Mac Studio when using a Thunderbolt 2 cable first instead of my trusty FireWire 800 one and a string of adapters), so I had to revert the bootloader (not the post-install root patches, though) to 0.6.2, and it fixed most issues.

With 0.6.4 things are looking a bit better; the sound issues are gone, as are Keychain Access's amnesia and APub's crashes, but Camo Studio (slightly redundant on this machine, as it has a serviceable iSight/FaceTime camera built in, but still) keeps crashing on launch, too. Should we expect more fixes, a specialized build, something?

probably RENDERING ISSUE they should get latest nvidia drivers and make ventura kext works like charm and test first on Latest Imac 2020 then port to MacOs

I think Ventura is last MODEL OS FOR INTEL USERS OR WILL BE

MAYBE AFTER THAT OCLP WOULD BECOME CULT AND STILL USE MAC OS LIKE OPENSOURCE

AND MAYBE SOME DEVELOPER FROM APPLE WOULD PORT OCLP SILICON WHEN APPLE AND INTEL MAKE AGREEMENT TO USE INTEL ARM CPU

OTHERWISE THEY LOOSE THE GAME NOTHING TO OFFER NOTHING TO DEVELOP NOTHING TO CHANGE ALL THEY NEED IS LOVE JOHN LENNON

fix ASAP THANKS TO OCLP TEAM!

Installed Ventura 13.3 on my early 2013 MBP with 0.6.2. So far it works as it should, except Preview apps.
No problem with Quick Look, but when open image files with Preview apps, it show thumbnails but no image on preview window.

View attachment 2183252

However, Preview apps can open PDF files without any problems.

I was on Mojave before this, and having Bootcamp with Windows 11. During installation of Ventura, I didn't touch anything on the Bootcamp partition, just installed Ventura as instructed by OCLP documents. (Same SSD as Bootcamp but different partition).
After successfully installed Ventura and did all the post install patches, reboot again and boot in Bootcamp, it booted Windows 11 flawlessly. I was ready for some tweaks if Bootcamp wasn't go smooth, but it seems just fine.

Des.

Was clean install to Ventura 13.3, with 0.6.3. Preview apps doesn't work. Microphone access doesn't work. Then upgrade to 13.3.1, with 0.6.4, Preview apps work, but microphone access still not work.
So, revert back to 13.2.1, with 0.6.1, everything worked.
Now my question is, if I go up to 13.3.1, or 13.4, can I use 0.6.1? To keep everything work? Or do I have to use 0.6.4?

Hello, same issue here (I saw your reaction ;))

The temporary workaround I've found is to disable "Debug executable" in your Run scheme, so that you will be able to see your console with all its prints (but you still won't be able to debug any breakpoints...).

Let's hope the issue will be solved quickly by the OCLP team, who has done an incredible work!
Thank you for the tip, however I have stil no print results in the console. Did you change or set/disable other things as well?
Did you try the latest OCLP 0.6.3? Was there a change with the debugger? Are there setting in the OCLP.app that could try?

Apple usually gives more notice if they're completely dumping a processor architecture.
They already did….. in 2020 Tim Cook said “we’ll be supporting Intel machines for years to come”….. it has already been years to come…. All of us Intel users are living on borrowed time at this point… So for now, we keep our fingers crossed, say some prayers, and send the OCLP developers some lovin’.😘😘😘

Going back to 13.2.1 because airdrop not works nor Import from phone beside pages import crashes only INTEL imac 2020 OR Intel Mac Pro 2020 volunteer would solve issue and nvidia AND AMD team developer to rewrite library or use old library from 13.2.1 all newer Mobile Protocol Amfi is needed you could check that they trying to enable and then disable on github programmers site for 0.6.5 patcher it could take whole month

the funny thing is that Mac Pro user are screw up and looking at latest imac 2020 we could Get some support until next year Apple says its over .

As said War is between you customers Iphone maybe is good deal but nothing else to buy

Also Android&Mintel would team Up and open War to Apple in hardware they have no more choice its Surfviving of fitest we have seen Apple doing Women mind **** excuses

and let not forget that developers are what Apple is not their service programmer FASCHIST PROGRAMME and
VALUED open source community 1 place

they Screw with Nvidia then Amd then Intel its obvious they will loose no more parts for them permanent.

I think latest Windows 12 and Android Google would make things better faster GUI many Vendors organised Xiaomi is first place to look and discipline copy all eco system and surface thin laptops would be beast system without limit of Os.

Hi all,

I'd like to get help with post-installation patching failure (31). Any advise is greatly appreciated!

Background:
I have a Late 2012 iMac 27 inch (Nvidia geForce GTX 680MX 2GB). From what I read, my iMac hardware would allow me to upgrade to Ventura. So I have used OCLP 0.6.4 to install Ventura 13.3.1. The main installation completed successfully but apparently I don't have video acceleration. The post-installation patch does pop up automatically as it detects I need the following two.

- Graphics: Nvidia Kepler
- Graphics: Intel Ivy Bridge

But the post-installation patch always fails with the following errors. I manually typed the key messages and they seem to also repeat a couple of times.

Need help with post-installation patching failure (31):
No variant specified, falling back to release
Error Domain=KMErrorDomain Code=31 "Error occurred while building a collection:

2: Could not use 'com.nvidia.web.GeForceWeb' because:

there is some setting in open patcher core LIBRARY HEART OF OCLP not patcher probably you dont have the latest library which is version 0.9.1 once that is in you efi and you are admin you are good to go

im running OCLP Ventura 13.2.1 on a 2014 Mac mini and I am only having three issues

1.) the bluetooth connection menu appears almost after every reboot, attempting to find/identify/connect to my bluetooth keyboard and mouse. it usually resolves in a few minutes of tapping the keys or clicking the mouse buttons. OCLP Ventura 13.2.1 never did this on my 2015 iMac using the same devices.

2.) messages app locks up when I try to set it up. I can access the messages and most are up to date. however it won't let me restore messages through iCloud sync (clicking the sync button does nothing) and there's no "downloading conversations" sync bar where it usually appears. if I try to edit the name and picture settings, it freezes up and beachballs like crazy.

3.) using the Apple Watch to unlock the Mac doesn't appear to work, but does work to approve system prompts like for deleting apps or installing software. when waking, the "unlocking with Apple Watch" appears on the screen but fails and makes me enter the passcode with the keyboard.

anyone else having these issues?

I am dual booting Ventura and Monterey on the two separate internal drives in the Mac mini and none of these issues (aside from the Apple Watch unlock) appear when using Monterey.

So I'm really struggling seeing that some of you now have been running with NO more issues since the release of 0.6.4

Both my iMac15,1 and MacMini 6,2 are now both running 13.3.1 with 0.6.4 and root patched.
Both still crash on PPT in presenter mode and the iMac's camera is not working in Zoom nor in Teams.
The external USB Logitech camera on the MacMini works fine on both.
I have to keep my iMac 13,2 on 13.3 with 0.6.2 and root patched as it works as I need it to. No issues with all the usual apps I use.

Anyone here got any ideas? Help?

The Mac Pro is still available today, so Intel support should be around for a few more years.
But not many. The guess of about 1 edition of MacOS has historical precedences. Apple dropped PowerPC support one edition after stopping to sell the G5 Power Mac.

In October 2005 Apple introduced the last revision of the G5 Power Mac
In August 2006 the Power Mac was replaced by the Mac Pro

The last version of OS-X to run on PowerPC chips was the 2007 Leopard (version 10.5).
2009's Snow Leopard did not run on PowerPC. That would be about 3 years, but the release cycles were longer back then.

With yearly releases I suspect, that support for Intel is dropped two years after the last Intel model has been replaced ... maybe even sooner.

I hope I am wrong, because I would love to bring my Mac Pro to 2030 and 20 years of great service...

My experience. I have almost the same iMac configuration and now everything works fine according to my needs:

After installing 13.3.1 from 0.6.2 - there were known problems: the preview did not work and there were no icons in the system settings, in 0.6.3 - the inability to play video files.

After installing OCLP 0.6.3 with the appropriate patch, I installed 0.6.2 but left patch 0.6.3 installed. The errors disappeared, although the icons first appeared only on installation - "sidebar icon size: small", but after a couple of days they were already everywhere

the unlock feature for apple watch is only exlusive to latest mac which have T2 chips Or Security Apple Os so no way to enable this feature on older Intel macs with bluetooth and wifi cards

as for patches make sure you reapply all the correct patches with the latest patcher 0.6.4 and everything should work as expected, reenable all the services again

ONLY BENEFIT FOR APPLE IS THAT THEY SELL YOU MOBILE PHONE IN BOX SO THEY CAN REDUCE THE COST OF
1)gpu demand
2)cpu demand
3)thunderbolt controller demand
4)memory demand

its all excuse to them but trust me they are making money from the customers not the developers or apps which customers do to make their money

its rabbit hole Pc market in their last stage

buy open source and use open source what i think is this version would last long time as ope source projects who knows maybe will be weakests achilles heel for apple

without musician and artist APPLE PC ARE JUST LIKE IN 2006 plastic bags of nothing
