Yeah, I think I wrecked my patched Ventura install on my 2015 Retina 15" MacBook Pro installing that RSR. When booting the bar always gets stuck one third of the way through, and the keyboard backlight comes on and the fan runs but nothing else happens. Better restore a Time Machine backup...

Used SilentKnight 2.05 to do the update, but the macOS Security Response 13.3.1 (a)-22E772610a update worked on my iMac 15,1 running Ventura 13.3.1 and OCLP 0.6.4 release. Had to redo the Post Install root patches, but after that everything looks good.
On my M2 MBA, no update is shown in the Software update system Settings, and SilentKnight fails with an error =1.
Strange indeed.

Can't get the RSR to install in my 2011 imac 12.1 with m5100 GPU. Tried both with root patches and without root patches.

Strange - no RSR are shown on my M1-MacBook Air with 13.3.1; neither 15" MacBook Pro 2014 with OCLP 0.6.4 + 13.2.1 🤷‍♂️

On rMBP'14 I stay away from RSR Update. Waiting what OCLP will write in next Release notes. 😉

On MBP11,3, the RSR installed without problems: but after reboot, the screen resolution was normal, but without graphics acceleration (no transparency effects); and then OCLP prompted to reinstall the root patches: so, it looks like somehow the RSR partially deactivated the root patches…

I just read here that it can take up to 48 hrs until all users get it...spoofed OS won't work at all...

Create a full usb installer 13.3.1 and install over broken volume.
That's what I'm going to have to do. I can put my old 512 GB SSD into my MacBookPro11,4 with Monterey installed on it, download OCLP and create the Ventura 13.3.1 USB installer, then swap the SSD with my 1 TB one, boot into the USB installer and restore the Time Machine backup I made a couple weeks ago, then once restored I won't bother with the RSR. But should I use 0.6.4, or try to find and download 0.6.5 via the GitHub page?

The RSR definitely deactivated/broke the root patches on my iMac 15,1 running Ventura 13.3.1 with OCLP 0.6.4 installed. Root patches applied OK after that.
The strange issue is on my M2 MBA (obviously not running OCLP, where the RSR will not install. Software update quits and doesn't even let me deactivate automatically checking for system updates. What is Apple doing on its "Supported" machines?

0.6.4 should work but if you want to try the 0.6.5n, look here;

Apple provided a way to uninstall the RSRs, which might come in handy when they're causing issues.

That's pretty good, but it's too bad it won't work when the patched Mac won't boot. Unless I can boot it from another Mac via Target Disk Mode or something?

Thank you very much, @jgleigh! Unfortunately that is the case now. It is true that the new macOS offer potentials never imagined before... But I would have preferred to continue to have a stable, robust and ESSENTIAL system (like Tiger, Snow Leopard or Lion) which, possibly, could be completed or enhanced through additional applications, by Apple or a third party, rather than a System that becomes complex and loses its identity as a robust UNIX System. 🥹 We have to resign, sob…

After being unable to upgrade my Monterey 12.6.5 volume OCLP patches to 0.6.5 (stuck on 0.6.3), I performed a clean install / migrate of Monterey on a new APFS volume. The macOS installation was flawless (booting the macOS installer with my OC 0.9.1 EFI) and OCLP 0.6.5 patches applied without any issues. This clean install/migrate strategy continues to be my go-to solution when an in-place re-installation of macOS doesn't fix the problem. I have now found that this strategy works with Big Sur, Monterey and Ventura.

I saw some various notes about internal trackpad only being single button and not showing in options, but didn't find any clarification if that had been fixed or updated.

Currently I do not see the "Trackpad" option in System Prefs and I cannot adjust gestures or add right click, etc.

I'm working on a MacBook Pro 9,1, i7 2.3, 16gb DDR3, 1TB Crucial MX500.

Hi, I'm using also a 15" MacBook Pro 2014 (11,2) with OCLP 0.6.4 + Ventura 13.2.1– everything ok.
I tried 3 times to get Ventura 13.3.1 to work successfully but often MBP rebooted itself when I opened the TV App or App Store; 1sec before reboot the cursor move directly to left upper corner.

What are your actual experience - everything working? Which macOS and OCLP version are u using?

@TOM1211
Do I understand correctly that NVMe power management ONLY needs to be turned on when NOT using an original Apple SSD anymore?
So is it better not to tick this if you are still using the factory SSD?

The reply was more aimed at a fix for the black screen after log in as this fixed worked for me when I also had this issue someone else maybe could answer if you should change it.(if it works why change it).
I only did because of the shutdown issue described.
OCLP will automatically pick the best settings for you just i experienced the same power issue.
