My Mac Pro just got the update message for macOS Ventura 13.5.2. It came with an - for me - unknown macOS icon.

I installed MacOS Ventura update 13.5.2 from installer package to my testOS. That went smoothly. Youtube in Safari works. AppleTV trailers caused the app to crash several times but now trailers play on first attempt. Will still wait before installing the update to my regular OS.

OTA-updated 2014 MacMini 7,1 running 13.5.1 (OCLP 0.6.8) to 13.5.2 today w/o issues. Took about 30 minutes and all seems fine after auto-request to post-update repatch after first boot.

Also OTA updated my MP5,1 from 13.5.1 to 13.5.2 today (GPU Radeon R9). Full installer due to patched system.
All went well, previous KDK for 22G90 also "holds" for build 22G91, so as long as Apple does not release the new KDK the existing one does the job for patching, esp. for legacy GPUs.

Anyone know the solution for Xcode 14 or 15 beta crash: lldb-rpc-server has crashed?
This issue happens only when education playground is launched and there formulas like 100+100+100.
Same for me with Playground but also with some other projects. Xcode beta 8, Sonoma beta 7.

Hi everyone! I haven't followed the Forum for a while because I'm very busy with other things.
Finally now I would like to upgrade from Ventura 13.2.1 to Ventura 13.5.2.
Can I update by downloading the complete Installer (from MrMacintosh site) and start it normally in Ventura, as I have always done without ever having problems? Or from Ventura 13.3 is it necessary to install only via USB stick?
So, I would also like to know if anyone managed to update via OTA or this is a... Mission Impossible.
I would like to point out that OCLP 0.6.9 Nightly is installed on my iMac, with the latest Post-Install Patch and everything works great.

For me, it worked well from 13.2.1 to 13.5 via OTA update. iMac 17,1

Mine is showing Ventura 13.6 ( Mac 14,2 )

Running 13.5.1 and OCLP 0.6.8
You have Beta updates enabled. 13.6 is not yet released.

For those who are reporting "OTA Incremental" updates are failing... Are you forcing incremental updates by reverting root patches instead of allowing OTA to download the full installer? Or is the full installer failing? As we've discussed, after OCLP "breaks the seal," OTA will download the full installer for macOS upgrades. The full OTA installer upgrades have been working well for me on my MBP6,2. No reason to download a full installer when OTA does it already.

My MacBookPro11,4 installed the Ventura 13.5.2 update fine; I just had to re-apply the OCLP 0.6.8 post-install root patches afterward. Still has that issue where sometimes it just quits when failing to start, and sometimes even if it just happens once, I tell ya, I get the whole kit and caboodle of restart error messages, and left it right here!

The Monterey delta update trick (revert patches before updating) will not work on any pre Haswell systems. Do not try, it will fail.

With patches still applied the apple software update will detect the broken seal (as mentioned before) and force a full download. OTA works for me this full way on Ventura and later (using only 2012 and older Macs).

I have an 11,4 as well. Did you confirm that 0.6.8 was installed and that was used and not 0.6.6? I updated to 0.6.8 , or so I thought, before going to 13.4.1----However, there was a specific way to update from 0.6.6 to 0.6.8 and I just happen to double check before updating, clicked on 0.6.8 and it showed I was on 0.6.6.....There was a video on here somewhere showing how to do this update.
This might not be your problem, but just thought I'd mention it.

13.5.2 working fine on my 14,2 iMac with 0.6.9n Sonoma branch (as I have a test install of 14.0b7 on another volume)
As you know, I’ve been updating regularly and it’s definitely more stable and feature solid now than it was after 13.3 rolled out.

I used to get these all the time on Ventura 13.3 onwards until AMFI pass was implemented in OCLP. Since that enhancement to the patcher it’s not been an issue. Which version of Ventura and OCLP are you running?
